Ok brewery, good beers. The atmosphere is more closed tables and clean/minimalist but lacks the same fun whimsy of the brewery next door. Food wasn’t available when we were there due to an issue with the kitchen. Overall, solid brewery but not quite what we wanted.
Stopped by for lunch with my mom, my niece and her boyfriend so we had ages from 22 through 79 and we all loved the sandwiches: my mom and I shared the Philippe, one of the best beef dips I've ever had, my niece had the Bari and her boyfriend had the Nonna. Praise all around. I also had a half-pour of the local cider, my niece had a Radler and her BF had one of the beers on tap (sorry, can't remember which one). Highly recommend. I liked Small Gods Brewing in Sidney. It was an easy walk from the Victoria to Swartz Bay bus stop. It was bright, organized and had nice offerings on my limited schedule. It was wheelchair accessible and had plenty of parking in the area. A BC Ale Trail sponsor.
