Swartz Bay (Victoria) Ferry Terminal BC Ferries

Ferry was a little late, due to Spring Break traffic, but boarding was smooth, the ride was pleasant, and getting off the ferry was smooth. It was an enjoyable trip

Legit restaurants. Starbucks coffee. No wait and smooth sailing. Everything is better in Canada

Efficient and friendly service makes this trip a pleasure

Walk on was smooth. Paid for the seawest lounge. I wouldn't mind a wider variety of snacks. Kudos for having hot water on demand, regular, and decaf coffee

I have taken the ferry between Schwartz Bay and Tsawwassen probably 60 times or more over the years. On a nice day, its a great trip for sitting outside and watching the scenery go by, especially the ferries crossing through Active Pass. The Schwarz Terminal has food and beverage options for drivers. Not so much for the walk on passengers, which is my current approach, using BC Transit and Translink to get me around from either side. All ferries have food options aboard although I feel the loss of the forward buffet lounge was a shame as it was the best food alternative.

Horrible food. Horrible structure. Just bad. First, the food on these ferries are so expensive and will make you bloated for the rest of the night. Now this terminal specifically… a very rude lady was working at the till. We get that things overflow and I suppose making people wait 4 hours for a possible spot is all she could do but she could’ve told us that. How come we had to figure out we were in the overflow section 1 hour before supposed boarding by suspicion from the other lanes filling up. She had an extremely rude attitude when she waddled away and handed us the ticket with sass. The food at this terminal was also disgusting so we went on a walk to a nearby shop. Also how come the American ferry gets to depart right in downtown Victoria when Canadians have to go at Swartz bay. Who came up with this design? Not a good experience. 100 dollars for putting two people and a car on is insulting especially in this economy. The people here are always so moody. As well, bring back the buffet. Stop capitalizing off Canadians who just wanna get on and off an island man. We need an alternative to these slow ferries with obscure policies

Horrible experience.

Older woman with glasses was incredibly rude, condescending and refused to refund a ticket that was purchased minutes prior and accused us of lying about the ticket, then refused to speak to the employee that sold it to us despite them being in the same room. Terrible treatment.

Needs a renovation.

I had a great experience at Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal! The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding scenery, making the wait quite enjoyable. The terminal itself is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of seating available.

Overall, Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal offers a fantastic travel experience. I look forward to returning for my next travels.
