Good Japanese food. Tempura and sushi are all standard quality. Pricey but can't complain in this small town.Do NOT order chashu ramen here thinking it's actual ramen. It's just regular noodle soup. Their chashu pork is excellent but the noodles are soggy and the soup is thin and flavorless.

Very good Japanese food selection. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the ramen was very tasty. The don-buri nicely assembled and good.Prices have escalated a bit since our last visit but still reasonable.

Pretty disappointing. While the sushi tasted alright, was a mess and falling apart. Ordered the beef don and there was a super strong sanitizer taste. So half 3/4 of that was wasted. My partner got the chicken don and it was super greasy. Overall don’t recommend going to this place for food, find somewhere else.

I came in for the first time a while back. The food was good and our server was friends. I found the service to be quite slow considering there were no other people in the restaurant. I'd definitely come back. Good food is becoming a rarity.

Disappointed with service and meal preparation tonight! I made reservations for 5:30 pm and granted it's a Saturday and the restaurant was packed. But I expect both meals to be delivered at the SAME time! It was my friends' birthday and her meal was delivered late while mine grew cold because I didn't want to be impolite eating before her!! Hire extra cooks if you have to, to do better!!

Came in to grab a quick lunch. Ordered House Bento box with Teriyaki chicken. Service was slow. Miso soup watery and no tofu or seaweed. Chicken was boiled then coated with water down teriyaki sauce. Not exactly how teriyaki chicken was prepared at authentic japanese restaurants.

The only down side to this place is that it's all the way out in Sidney! Absolutely worth the drive though- best sushi in the Greater Victoria area! The food is always fantastic, for both dining in and take out. They always get the order exactly right, and their prices are fair. They are always friendly and pleasant to interact with. Highly recommend this sushi spot!

I ordered the spicy chicken rolls, chicken karaage, and veggie spring rolls and let me tell you this; I haven't had sushi in many many years but those spicy chicken rolls hit sooo hard and has now got me addicted to them. The chicken was crispy and everything in general was so flavourful. All I can say is TAKE MY MONEY.
Had a quick stop for a takeout. Loved the veg sushis we grabbed for our trip back to Vancouver.The staff was a little confused and slow but recommend trying it if you like the cuisine.
