Dined-in here twice, had take out once. Dining-in is pretty good, service has been fine.However, having done an over-the-phone order for take-out, I received the wrong item(s). One pizza was missing an ingredient I had asked for; when I called after noticing when I got home, the response was that they don’t have it currently… I would have expected clarification as opposed to just not including it. The other pizza was entirely incorrect; it turns out their online menu does not match their in-house one. Although that’s not the end of the world, when I called I was only offered a “yahhhh, it seems like the menu we have here and the website don’t match” and “sorry for the mix up”… nothing else, really? I didn’t want a Vegan Mediterranean, I wanted (and paid for) pulled pork. I understand accidents happen, but as it is completely the fault of their own inconsistencies that led to this, I would expect a refund offer, or the pizza to be corrected. I’m not going to beg over the phone, just offer a fix. I have spent a decade in customer service - it’s not that difficult to fix mistakes, as they inevitably happen! This was a very unsatisfactory experience.

Visited this place in November 2021 for a quick meal option. We read the reviews so felt certain it would be a good experience. I will say, it was a below average experience. We were there around 7pm, sat for about 10 minutes before we were offered menu's, then another 10 minutes before anyone came to take drink orders and were ill-prepared to take a food order at that time. I will add, the restaurant was not overly busy but there were plenty of takeout orders being filled. We finally ordered Bacon Maple Chicken wings, a Hawaii 5-0 & a BBQ chicken pizza. When the wings came out they were very cold and the first and last bite tasted like pure flour. No one came to check to see how the food was for about 15 minutes (when the pizza's came out) and they were miffed and apathetic when we explained the wings to them. Then the staff proceeded to loudly discuss the issue in the pizza prep area. Moving on to the pizzas...the Hawaii 5-0 was very average, toppings were sparse, crust was thin and crunchy and mango does not belong on a pizza, I have now learned. It gets very mushy and flavorless. The BBQ chicken had the same feel, very average with sparse toppings. This would not be my first or second place to order pizza from in Sidney, it would do in a pinch.

I'd say this pizza was slightly above average. I got the #14 but the marinated vegetables were too tangy and sweet and kind of ruined the pizza for me. Service was pretty good. I'd go back to try another type of pizza.

Where should I begin? The table was sticky and some leftovers from the previous customers were still on the table. They check your Vaccine Passport, and yet fail to clean and sanitize their environment properly. Ingredients weren't fresh. The pizza crust was hard and partially burnt. The overall experience wasn't the best. I do not feel the value of the food and the dining experience were worthy of the money. I would not recommend this pizza place to anyone.

This wood fired pizza place has a common flaw in the making of its pizza in a wood fired pizza. The 'za comes out with a layer burnt especially around the edge of the crust and, unless you like the taste of charcoal, that inch-&-a-half of circumference of the pizza is waste.I am not sure but I think that the pizza's ingredients are supposed to be layered right to the edge and beyond when using a wood fired oven.Outside of that major flaw the pizza's center diameter was merely OK-good.

Absolutely the BEST pizza I have had to date.the texture and flavour was top notch. It was a pick up but the owner Felicia.. I believe forgive if wrong .. helped and was so fun and amazing. Simply the best pizza purchase experience I have had on all levels.. SHOP HERE !

We have been eating at the Woodshed since it opened 9 years ago and it is usually very good. But the last time we were there, our pizza came out too burnt to eat, so we sent it back. The older lady who was new there said it is NOT burned, it's a wood fired oven. Then the people at the next table to us said "ours was burned too" and showed us the black crusts. We left without eating. The lady needs to learn that when food I'd black, it's because it is burnt...

Fast service, efficient and tasted pretty good. The decor in the place was cute.We had a ferry to catch and it was getting late, so we were glad it all worked out perfectly here.

Wow! We joined another couple here for lunch, a warm and inviting place to eat on what was a rainy September day. My wife and I shared a pizza and ribs, both were incredible, the ribs were tender and served with a delicious BBQ sauce, the pizza was the Hawaii Five-0, a tropical blend with meat that really hit the spot! Our server, Woodchuck, was attentive answering all of our questions and made us feel safe by checking our passports, we will return to sample more items on the menu.

Other than the fact that they took 45 minutes rather than their stated 20 minutes for pickup of our order, and the fact that one of the two pizzas ordered was incorrect in all ingredients with the exception of the crust (imagine pesto and spinach where tomato sauce and pulled pork were ordered) - the pizza was actually quite good. Mariners pizza down the street while less inspired at least gets the order right and on time. I’ll take my pizza cravings there.

My husband and I went for pizza this evening . It was really packed so we knew food would be awesome we were not disappointed.Food was excellent. Even though they seemed short staffed the service was great they went out of their way to accommodate everyone with a smile .Our server Mike was awesome juggling three or four tables at a time . Must have great memories as everyone in our section got their order right .We’d definitely go back .Mamta and AndySydney BC
