Enjoyed spending pie day here. Great board game and beer options.
Cute ski lodge feel. Live music. Minimal seating. But good atmosphere and the beers are alright. Put them on untapped.
Bulkley valley brewery is also where Smithers grind coffee is located.
And I'm pretty sure the hours are actually different, but I wasn't able to find Smithers grind on Google but if you're looking for a coffee know that Smithers Grind which you can find on facebook, is located here.
I really like this place because the vibe is really cool, the staff are super friendly and it's a great place to bring your laptop and just do some work.
They have all kinds of different coffees and teas and hot drinks, but since it's within the brewery, you can even also enjoy yourself a beer.
There's not many places in town where you can just bring your laptop and do some work in a nice atmosphere, but this is probably the number one place for that and which is why I enjoyed so much.
So if you're looking for a coffee just know that Smithers Grind, once again can be found on facebook, is located here and I'm pretty sure the hours are different than the brewery.
So even though it might say that the brewery is closed, Smithers Grind might be open for you to grab a coffee early in the morning
Nothing I could put into words could possibly explain the beautiful community that thrives from this brewery. I spent a short two months here working and made some of the most meaningful relationships both with staff and patrons. Thank you Dave, for being a rock in the community and really giving your true self, even when it makes waves.
If you're reading this and looking for somewhere to go in Smithers, TRUST ME. This is THE only place you need to go for beer, music, games and commUNITY.
Fantastic cozy atmosphere. I could fall asleep in front of that fireplace. Of course one of their good beers would help with that.
tried their beers and hard ice tea at a tasting event in prince rupert. loved them. for my taste, particularly loved the cerveza...what a nice beer, even if you are not typically a beer drinker lucky people in smithers
Very nice and quiet place.
Highlight of the beer the steelhead Pilsener.
Friendly, intimate bar with friendly staff and patrons. This place has an easy-going vibe that is relaxing and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed the Sunrise Sour beer.
Great local brews, most definitely worth checking out.

Dave and his staff are awesome. I’m not a beer drinker (I do try!) so it works really well for me that they do mixed drinks, so I don’t just have to watch my friends drink their beers! If you’re visiting Smithers, BVB is the place to go to meet people, hear live music, enjoy a cozy atmosphere, and experienceSmithers. Highly recommend.
Great beer and even better atmosphere
Super chill and great beer. Lots of boardgames to borrow.

Wonderful place to stop in and get a craft beer, chat with staff and friends. Very nice merchandise with a great selection. The mist spray out front is a great idea to keep cool while enjoying a beer. Outstanding selection of beer. My wife and I tried the key lime, sasqauch pale ale, lage noir, hazy days, rodeo water, oat stout [silver medal winner] and pit of death. Every single beer was great in its own way. Very happy.
