Dave and his staff are awesome. I’m not a beer drinker (I do try!) so it works really well for me that they do mixed drinks, so I don’t just have to watch my friends drink their beers! If you’re visiting Smithers, BVB is the place to go to meet people, hear live music, enjoy a cozy atmosphere, and experienceSmithers. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stop in and get a craft beer, chat with staff and friends. Very nice merchandise with a great selection. The mist spray out front is a great idea to keep cool while enjoying a beer. Outstanding selection of beer. My wife and I tried the key lime, sasqauch pale ale, lage noir, hazy days, rodeo water, oat stout [silver medal winner] and pit of death. Every single beer was great in its own way. Very happy.

Ok, I'm comparing this place with Smithers Brewing Company. And based on my 5-star review of SBC, this place gets a solid 3.5 stars. Most importantly: the beer isn't as good. #sorrynotsorryI met a couple hiking who said the same thing and I confirmed this. They also said that this place is better known for the live music. (And seeing as how ALL their pictures are of music, and none are of beer, it makes one wonder what their priorities are.)They also have indoor or outdoor seating. It's nice but a little less modern-feeling than SBC. I didn't check their bathrooms. Somebody do that and post a g.d, review to let us know how they look. I mean, as the Barenaked Ladies said in their live album Rock Spectacle, "fer crissakes!" This is 2023 and all these Canadian establishments have like one or three yelp reviews? Let's go, people! Do your part!

Nice place to hang out with friends and a beer. I tried the lemon meringue beer which I thoroughly enjoyed. They had a nice selection of beers, and I bought a porter in cans to try at home. They have tables inside and shelves with board games you can use. I’d hang out here again if I wasn’t just passing through town. They also had a few tables outside.
