Old time bakery which you don't see much any more. Cookies were good. Seems like they do a BIG bread business and also they do serve some to go deli sandwiches make fresh.

Ordered a black forest cake and oatmeal raisin cookies for a crew BBQ last week, the cake was the absolute best I've ever had!!! Every guy on the crew had more than 2 pieces and the cookies, well I want to grab more just for myself, they were moist tasty and fresh!!! Best ever!! This was the first time ordering from Paul's and they made sure that the order was given to us even AFTER business hours. Simply the best service ever. Thanks to all who made it happen and we WILL be getting more!!
Pay $8 for a loaf of sugar bread that used to be the best. Now ther is absolutely no sugar or cinnamon in it. So disappointing. It one point I would order 50 loafs to take back to Alberta. Now I whould not recommend it to anyone

2nd time back whilst in Smithers. Good donuts backed up with absolutely crappy service couldnât even understand the woman and wouldnât risk asking her to repeat as I was given the snarling look. I wonât go back. Businesses have to realise that a smile costs nothing when taking peoples hard earned money. Improve that and your business will improve, Donât and you will loose business as lots of bakeries around.

Atmosphere and service were great, however we didn't find healthy options at the bakery. If you like cookies, deserts, and hearty food, this place is for you.
Donuts and Nanaimo Bars are great. Service not so much - not friendly, and paid for 6 donuts to find after I left only 5 in the box.

Food was outstanding! Unfortunately, We had the absolute worst customer service.. it was not an enjoyable experience. The young lady made everyone feel uncomfortable with her attitude and tone.. not to mention, she THREW my donut on the counter so hard that it separated in the bag and made it very messy. She didn't seem bothered when I looked at her with a questionable look.. It was awkward. :/
