Been a few years since my last visit, so can’t compare, but food service and atmosphere were all terrific tonight. Fantastic fish and chips - and Guinness on tap! Definitely deserves its accolades from the Black Stuff Mothership.

I was treated like a regular by the front staff within a couple weeks, the kitchen is always generous, and the food tastes great. This place was a favourite when I first lived in Sooke 10 years ago, and that hasn't changed.

Recently had the wonderful opportunity to experience the fun, food and camaraderie at the 17 Mile Pub and oh boy that was a treat. The owner was so welcoming and greeted me with a smile and Irish coffee. I ordered the garlic prawns and chicken wings and seriously those were the best I’ve ever tasted!! Kitchen might be small but the food coming out of it looked amazing, so I can’t wait to go back to sample more goodies. Truly amazing service and a true gem of a gathering place!!! Thank you!!!🤩

Glad my folks took me and my family over to this place. We were told this place had some good for us to enjoy before we head back home. I ordered the Salmon Burger and man was it ever good and delicious. The place is nice, classic, and boot loads of history in this place. The folks were nice and kind and the waiters are very friendly as well. If I was to come back to enjoy a nice meal on my vacation time. I be more then happy to be back here any time any where ^^

What a great place to stop for a bite to eat and a cold beer. A little confusing to find but well worth it. The food was really good, the staff was amazing and the place has such a great vibe to it! We will definitely be returning and encourage anyone else looking for a great place to stop and eat, to check it out.
