Beautiful location, clean bathrooms. Worth the visit. I even forgot my purse/wallet there and they kept it safe until we returned the next day!”

“These people have the best coffees ever. Matty is incredibly helpful. They teach you how to brew your coffee, so you never experience that disappointment of having sour coffee at home.. .also, they have a vending machine outside, so if you happen to run out of your favorite beans and they are closed, it's never a problem! Push the buttons for your favorite beans, tap your card, and down falls a fresh bag of coffee beans! Brilliant.”

“Meat eaters and vegans were all very happy here! They offer vegan cheese and veggie ground "beef", and are happy to substitute or put sauces on the sides for folks who didn't want as much spice. Warning--the burrito bowl was MASSIVE! The service was really prompt and friendly. All in all, a great place for lunch!”

“I love this place. The staff has been great. And it’s a special spot, with an undeniable history and welcoming atmosphere. Ive been coming here for almost 20 years now since our family moved to Sooke. But Ive noticed a decline in the quality of food, variety and value for your money. I get that covid hurt (almost) everyone and is the usual excuse now. Im just sharing my opinion with what Ive noticed. One of the best options on the menu with really good value is the steak sandwich, and its not even offered half the year. I would honestly pay a premium for some of the old features again. Regardless, supporting local either way.”

“By far the cleanest, well lit Subway in the entire Victoria & area. The Sooke Subway is the best subway I’ve ever been to! They check all the boxes for a good restaurant establishment PERFECTLY. Also all there employees seem very experienced, and the older Asian lady, and the young man working there are super friendly. I really like this subway it’s the best!

Parking: I don’t drive, I take transit and bike/walk, but at Evergreen Mall in sooke (where this Subway is located) there is a free parking lot with lots of parking spots, and they even have a few spots to lock up a bike!”

“Ordered the Beef Bulgogi Bimibap today for lunch and it was excellent. Only constructive criticism is that the portion size is a little small for the price. I will be back, just might need to order more food. Also, there was supposed to be a miso soup in my order, but no miso soup.”
