Great beer, great people, and a great food truck. Also, a great dog. Every beer I tried had great character; the brew master here is spot on. Try the food truck. I'd been disappointed by at least three hamburgers in the past few weeks at various other places. Not here. Value for quality is fantastic and the burger is juicy and delicious.
Wicked
A wide selection of excellent beer. The food truck is also yummy. The owners went above and beyond when I left an important personal item. Much appreciated!!

Well worth the detour from the main road. There was a great variety of beer options, and the on-site food truck had an excellent pulled-pork poutine!
The Tire Biter IPA was my favorite from the flight I ordered.
Super cute brewery and delicious food truck basically in the forest.
Fantastic brewery and a great place to bring your dog too. We had a flight so we were able to try quite a few varieties. We found a shady spot for our dog and the owner came out to say hello and visit. Super friendly people and lots of treats for our dog too. We bought some beer to take home as well. Will definitely return the next time we are in Sooke.
Great beers & food at out of the way place.
One of the best breweries I've visited. I loved all of the 8 beers we tried in our two flights...was hard to choose which ones to buy to take home. Super friendly staff and fun swag for sale. Beautiful location, clean bathrooms. Worth the visit. I even forgot my purse/wallet there and they kept it safe until we returned the next day!
No bad beers here + great food. Lovely staff and location.
Awesome spot a little off the beaten path! Super friendly staff and awesome selection of craft brews. Fun eats onsite, gotta try the deep fried mac and cheese with spicy ketchup, souvenir shop and to go beers to support the locals!

Great little brewery! Was lovely to stop for lunch and to try some of their delicious beer! And all reasonably priced! :)
Oh and the art on the beer cans done by the owner’s son is killer! It definitely adds a uniqueness to the brand!!! Very cool spot!
Great atmosphere and great people! My two favourite beers are Kona’s Gone Coconuts and Liquid Hippie!
Check them out!
Saw the sign for this brewery on the highway and I was all over it. While it was wayyy off the beaten path (about 5 km from the highway) after a little while it became a quest; a quest for beer. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the setup and strong selection of beers. As a starter, I ordered a flight. All of the beers were solid but I especially loved the punk rock pomegranate ale. The pulled pork poutine from the food truck was amazing. All in all, a great experience. I always enjoy hidden gem breweries with a quirky theme and awesome beer. This one met and exceeded my expectations. Well worth the drive.
A nice little brewery just outside of the small city of Sooke. We got to try out some craft beers here, plus get a free tour behind the Bad Dog brewing station with an employee explaining their process. It was satisfying for the drinks, and educational at the same time! My favourite was the Peel, and my least favourite was the Kona because that was the strongest and most bitter ...The place wasn't busy when we visited, with ample indoor and outdoor seating. There's also a cart selling food outside, and washrooms. Being surrounded by greenery and nature was nice too. It's worth driving up here if you're looking for good craft beer in Sooke! ?
I love this place! Beer is the best in Sooke. Owners and staff are amazing. Food is really good and everything is reasonably priced.
