A nice little brewery just outside of the small city of Sooke. We got to try out some craft beers here, plus get a free tour behind the Bad Dog brewing station with an employee explaining their process. It was satisfying for the drinks, and educational at the same time! My favourite was the Peel, and my least favourite was the Kona because that was the strongest and most bitter ...The place wasn't busy when we visited, with ample indoor and outdoor seating. There's also a cart selling food outside, and washrooms. Being surrounded by greenery and nature was nice too. It's worth driving up here if you're looking for good craft beer in Sooke! ?

Favourite spot to stop for a beer and food after a West Coast excursion! Beer is always fresh and flavourful, staff are friendly and the Kimchi, pulled pork wraps are delish. Highly recommend checking out this spot on your way back to Victoria from the West coast beaches, just take the left after Tugwell creek and follow the signs. Great spot anytime of year, usually open till 7 almost everyday. Enjoy!

I discovered this Sooke craft brewery from Stoked pizza. I wanted to go buy some tall can taster singles, direct from brewery. Great selection of craft brews! Staff was friendly & helpful. Pricing was good. They have covered patio area & also uncovered picnic table area. Dog friendly business.

Chris, great presentation and explanation of the menu and beers. I had all of the tasty IPA’s while my wife had a variety of drinks.The signage from the main road to the brewery were on point. It is a bit of a drive through some beautiful windy roads, well worth it!We are glad we made this stop and would return if there was an opportunity.

We were not sure what to expect on the drive out to Bad Dog but we were definitely not disappointed. Bad Dog is totally worth the drive out and the beer was fantastic. If you are looking for an adventure, go out and check it out!

A little way off the main road but worth the detour. Friendly staff serve your beer, and they have multiple on draft, available in cans or growler. Great food truck on site, too. Plenty of outside and under cover seating for whatever the weather throws at you
What a great brewery! I was a bit skeptical on my way out there since it's sort of in the middle of nowhere, but I'm glad I went. The beers were great, as was the food truck. I ended up taking 4 4-packs home with me too!

Really hard to find if you use the signs on the road! I switched to google map and had no problem. Worth trying to find it. Great atmosphere, laid back and family orientated while I was there( 12:00 to 2:00 PM) Ales ranged from above average to outstanding. service was excellent, the young lady behind the counter was friendly, and knew her beers. Made very good recommendations. I had a very relaxed afternoon with my girlfriend, and will be back.
