Cathy's kitchen has always been my favorite place to eat breakfast. I normally don't like hollandaise sauce but hers and the smashed potatoes are my fav.

Well in Sooke, I was told about a morning breakfast that would take you back just like mom makes. With a little bit of locating it for the reason there is no sign out side on the building.The only difference was the name of the restaurant was different on the outside was called Cathies corner then on the inside of the restaurant.. If you have time off for breakfast this place is worth trip and the food is reasonably price.

Small town, much beloved cafe filled with heart, warmth, some of the best smash potatoes/hash browns burgers and eggs bennys out there.
I ordered an omelet with home fries ok I have to admit the best home potatoes I've had in a restaurant usually potatoes are either mushy or dry these were delicious and the secret a cast iron skillet its cooked in ! So good!

Can’t really fault this place. It’s a moderately charming family-run restaurant in Sooke serving no nonsense breakfast and lunch. Had the breakfast wrap which was a big portion for a very reasonable price and came packed with tons of tastiness. Ended up being enough food for breakfast and lunch.

Little hole in the wall that's got tasty food! The bun on the run took me a minute to gobble it was soooo good !! It's a help yourself style ish spot, needed help from the locals first-time in here but now I've mastered it ! It's a nice pit stop in sooke if you don't want your timmies or mc donalds.

Only ordered 2 breakfast buns, one without egg. Of course received both with egg. Really, not hard even when your busy. Tip: scrap your flat top, my egg had left over black it. Used to good back in the day what happened?????
