I find this restaurant is hit and miss.last night was a big miss. The chicken chow was average but the chicken fried rice was very dry, and the vegetables came from a frozen veggie mix. Honestly it was not edible. The almond chicken was OK but had very few almonds with it and finally the sweet and sour chicken was very tough and difficult to eat.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER. Told it would be 20 minutes for pick up. Arrived there and stood waiting for another 25 minutes. I ordered three items and it sat there for 20 minutes under a heat lamp. Wish I hadn't paid when I arrived or I would have walked outEnded up with lukewarm food.Last time I will be ordering !!!!!Sooke needs another Chineese restaurant

When they first opened they were great! But they changed hands a few years ago and the food was never as good. still miss the ginger beef!

Not worth the price. I made the mistake of ordering $60 plus in takeout from this establishment. The food was cold and poor flavour (I could tell it wasn’t fresh, far from it) also the amount the gave me looked like it would cost $30 in a food court. I won’t be eating there again. I know inflation is bad right now but this is too far. Avoid this place.

Ordered dinner for 2. After about 10 minutes Egg rolls came first. Then 5 minutes later chow main was delivered cold. Almost 9 minutes later the sweet n sour pork showed up... cold.15 minutes after this the beef vegetable came to the table cold. The food was terrible and I won't go again. No one cared if I complained or not as long as we paid.

So, mixed bag here. The service was quick & friendly. The food came out lightening fast- there was only one other table occupied. The chow mein was okay, really could have used more veggies, noodles were yummy. The almond chicken was a head scratcher, it was a large portion but it was just breaded chicken breasts with a tiny dusting of almonds. I'm used to it coming with a gravy type sauce- how are you supposed to eat dry chicken?? Also- the breading was so sweet, like dessert sweet which was very odd. The honey garlic was the best but also very sweet. Not a lot of sauce... Also note that each entree is almost $20 and none of them come with rice?!?

These folks SLAY!!! They know how to make a meeaaaaaan Chinese dinner. Eat at happy village and you’ll feel like a winner! I was fed for WEEKS! I was stranded in the wilderness for 13 nights, 15 days and survived SOLEY off the contents of my happy village order. I owe them my lifeBless up,Kyle
