Everything is amazing and made from scratch. The French onion soup is easily the best I've ever had! fantastic food made by great people 😀

The food was absolutely amazing! Big portions, deliciously made and for a decent price. The coffee and matcha were also so good!! I was pleasantly surprised, it’s not often anymore that you get this quality for a decent price. They have great options for vegetarians and vegan too. And to top it all off, the owner/server is the absolute best. It is a beautiful place and you can tell that they manage it with love. It transpires in their food and their interactions with their customers! Oh and did I mention they are dog friendly? A new favourite for us when we come to Sooke. ❤️

Island Tarts in Sooke is a must-visit! We had breakfast here recently, and everything was absolutely amazing. The food is freshly cooked, and you can taste the quality in every bite. We tried the Ultimate Panini Sandwich, Garden Veggie Sandwich, and Avocado Toast – all of them were so fresh and delicious! Everything is made right at the café, and you can really tell. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this spot. Highly recommend!

I went there with my friend “Sunny”. Whatever he said before going there, the food and coffee came out the exactly same, we tried matcha, caramel coffee, and avocado toast, it was super yummy. Highly recommended, 10/10.

Wow - we went in for coffee but were enticed by their offerings to have lunch as well and I’m glad we did! The avocado toast was maybe the most beautiful and delicious I’ve ever had. And the coffee is always perfect. And eating in the lobby of the Prestige is a beautiful setting.

A nice surprise in the lobby of the hotel we were staying at. We didn’t have time to try all the desserts but they sure looked good and changed daily. So if you see something you like don’t wait until the next day. We had the avocado toast two days in a row for breakfast. Delicious focaccia bread. Excellent presentation.

Very friendly staff that are willing to accommodate off menu requests. One of the days I wasn't hungry enough for the garden panini, so I asked if I could have a bagel with roasted red pepper spread. They happily made it and it was delicious. The Chai was good too. The garden panini is absolutely delicious and is a must. The omnivore husband enjoyed his selection as well. We went here yesterday for their tarts and smoothies, and it was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was lovely, thanks to Kristina. We came back the next morning for breakfast and the avocado toast was such a delight. Chef Miloš was very thoughtful as well and made my eggs over hard as I am pregnant. We’ll definitely come back again and again!
