damn yo.

chicken biryani shouldve been a slam dunk. mild flavour with bad cuts of chicken. the whole spices were old i could tell. (u know when u bite into a clove and its pretty intense? well i ate a whole one by accident in this biryani and it didnt even phase me ) lot of strange filler in the biryani too cant explain it but it was gummy and mushy.

the sambar, too much cumin. just one note.

the chutneys actually should be illegal. nothing fresh about those, tasted dusty.

the medu vada were fried in some daaank old oil making them bitter. not to mention they were too dense, even for them.

disappointed and wont be coming back.

service was fast and the lady who served me was lovely.

it was windy and the door kinda hard to open too.

Overall, the food tastes good. Customer service Good. There were 10 of us dining in. We ordered food, and the time it took to get our food took approximately 1 hour. I saw the other tables that came 30 minute later, got their food first. So maybe they cook our food after smaller tables. But it should be first come, first serve, not cooking for smaller table before getting to cook for larger tables.

Very limited parking space.
There is a washroom, but use only one person at a time.

Hands down the best South Indian food in Victoria, me and my partner went there last week for breakfast and left so happy with taste of food and the quality. The food served to us was so fresh. The owner is also very welcoming and lovely. Definitely going back again :)

This is a great authentic South Indian food place. I would highly recommend to try Prawn Kottu Parrota!! Brought my mom and fiancée for dinner and they approved it too.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection,Hands down, some of the best food I have had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The [Schezwan fried rice,Beef pepper masala, Fish Curry] was especially memorable,this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! Our family especially enjoyed the appetizers [Chicken 65,Cauliflower pakoda]The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious.I especially loved the creative twists on classic dishes.Whether you’re dining indoors or out on the patio, the ambiance of this restaurant is always delightful. The ambiance adds value to the overall dining experience. [KURRY KING] is a true hidden gem.
The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server was gracious and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was perfect.

We’ve been ordering takeout from here regularly since it opened. The food is consistently really good, very authentic, super flavourful, good portions, very vegan friendly, and great customer service. By far the best Indian restaurant on the Westshore.
