Great little outdoor spot for high quality ice cream sandwiches and coffee drinks. About 8 parking spots and 3 picnic tables available. The sandwiches are generously sized - they’re happy to cut them in half if you want to split them. We split some so we could try more flavours! The vanilla bean fudge with sour cherries and the lemon lime meringue were the highlights.
Vegetarian options: Vegan option available; check their Instagram for current flavours.

Getting the float was so good. The ice cream bars/sandwiches were also a fantastic choice! A bit far but worth the drive in my option!

The loveliest lady, the loveliest flavours, and truly, truly the most amazing, 10/10 ice cream I’ve ever had (and great coffee too). I dream about Sea Chest all year until my yearly Victoria trip. An absolute must go!!

The best ice cream sandwich I’ve ever had! The ice cream is creamy but light and flavourful, the cookie perfectly compliments it. The iced americano was also strong and well made! Service was lovely. Would come back!

I would give a 6/5 star if I could. I don’t understand those who give great reviews and only give a 3 or a 4 stars. What an amazing treat after a hike in East Sooke Park/Aylard Farm. By far the best ever icecream sandwich. All organic and local handmade ingredients. I had the lemon with poppyseed and lime cookie, so refreshing on a hot day. Some may say $10 is a fair bit, but it is worth every penny; I rather have anyone of those anytime than a beer or a cocktail or a known chain coffee. And even if it was to be tight for someone’s budget, split it with your friend or spouse. The hours are limited to the weekends (maybe Fridays too, I can’t recall).
My future hikes in the area will always, from now on, include a stop at Sea Chest.

I got the amazing Rose Petal and Raspberry flavored icecream sandwich. The lady who made the ice cream said the raspberries are from her garden. It just can't get any better than this!Sitting on the grass and enjoying this treat sent me directly to the 7th Heaven! It was the best reward after a long and hot hike at East Sooke Park.
