I had a fantastic experience at Serious Coffee in Sooke! The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious coffee make it a must-visit spot. Their latte was perfectly made, and I appreciated the variety of fresh pastries available. The seating area is inviting, whether you're catching up with friends or getting some work done.
I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their menu. Highly recommend Serious Coffee for anyone visiting or living in Sooke!

Awesome service experience today. 1st time using the Sooke location since I recently moved there. All the staff were awesome, however special shout out to Shy.....amazing personality and really great at what she does. I spilt my coffee all over her counter area...she was so awesome at handling the situation and didn't make me feel silly for doing something so stupid..... Atleast my 1st impression will be a rememberable one. Make that 1st impression count I always say!!!!! Thanks Shy and all the people helping today. Aaron!!

Mediocre. Serious coffee at all locations is some of the worst gut rot and anxiety inducing coffee myself and significant others share. Not sure what it is or why this is different but all locations around Victoria is the same.

It gets loud in there if you have someone that had to talk louder than everyone, guess some people like to be heard. Hard to sit and relax and the place needs a good cleaning.
Best cappuccinos I can find on the Island. Grilled cheese Panini was amazing.

I find the drinks are decent, the price is a bit high tho. They do have a variety of dairy substitutes, which is always nice to see. Staff are usually pretty cheery and nice. It's probably the best place to get coffee in Sooke. (My recommendation is a London fog with soy milk.)

I waited for the very loud server to deal with the customer before me.They had a very nice chat about the local attractions. She got the guys change wrong so that took even more time. Then she proceeded to count the tips instead of serving the customers who were waiting. She appeared to be more interested on counting the tips and telling the other staff how to do their jobs. All the time the que got longer and she didn't even acknowledge the waiting customers with an "I'll be with you shortly". I was going to walk out but I'd waited that long for my Mocha, I figured I might as well stick it out. Someone needs to sort out their customer service. Won't be me. I won't be back.

Nice place and decent food, but getting to that point is an issue. Despite not being busy they ignored customers in line for multiple minutes before even taking an order, and then for me in specific waited 4 minutes after I ordered just to tell me they’re out of what I wanted. Just shows that they weren’t paying attention to orders at all until later on when they were done chatting.
