There is also dining indoors but the outdoor patio is spacious and has a wonderful view of Becher Bay and the Marina, complete with curious harbour seals popping their heads out of the water. We sat under a shady overhang with some grapes hanging above our heads! Watch for wasps. Kind service. There were only 3 fellows manning the small resto so we definitely had a 30 minute wait for our lunch, which wasn't outstanding (chicken wrap, chicken soup, panini and calamari) but freshly prepared. The place is busy with locals and is conveniently located by Aylard Farm/ East Sooke Regional Park. Parking is on grassy area past trailer parking, (as described by TA reviewer Yessyhara below.) 3.25 stars.

Love this place! The food is awesome, unique and very healthy! Service is friendly and the view is spectacular!!!! Highly recommend this little hole-in-the-wall alongside a boat launch! It’s worth the effort to find.

First of all the calamaria is NOT the best we have had, in fact probably the worst. 3 tiny strips breaded and deep fried for $13.95 is very expensive. The taste is very ordinary, certainly not good value. This place is extremely rustic, kindest word I could use. The views are wonderful too bad the food isn't. The salmon spring rolls are very delicious, but again really expensive. We were there for lunch and most things we did want to order they did not have. Probably we would not recommend Smokin Tuna to anyone. Out of town so not worth the bother to get there.

We went there for dinner and had only 3 choices for main dinner prime rib tuna or duck. i went with prime the meal was ok the price was over 30 including tax not worth that amount of money. Hubby had the tuna which was really good but small portions. The view was amazing and the service was good.

This cafe was a great find on our trip to East Sooke! The food was phenomenal, compliments to the chef! No extensive menu, just a handful of dishes served up perfectly. The platter of tuna, calamari and salmon spring rolls was absolutely delicious! And what a view! Thank you so much for squeezing us in under the grape vines when we didn't have a reservation ?.

Don't panic if you feel like you're in the wrong place, it's down the hill, through the trailer park, and right at the waters edge. The patio is protected from the sea breeze by a glass surround so you can admire the view (gets breezy there). Unfortunately we were there just between lunch and dinner service so we just had coffees, the Americanos were very good.

Don't let the rustic setting fool you. Gourmet dishes of top quality tuna and salmon, served with fresh garden vegetables all expertly prepared.
