Best fish and chips in town!!! Not to mention their own special tartar sauce... so delicious! Even the slaw is unique and amazing. After 3 attempts to try these, I was finally fortunate they had not sold out. This tells you how popular they are. And the staff are always cheerful and friendly. Hayden went the extra mile (again) and took me as his last customer right when he was closing up shop. I suggest getting there early to not miss out! But no matter what sells out, there is always another amazing alternative as I have literally tried their entire menu now and it’s unreal! I just might go back again today.

Been good up till recently. The sooke river burger is tasty but last few times the patty is really dry and the fries are super salty and over cooked. Staff is always friendly tho so that part would be a 5 star but unfortunately until food quality goes back it will remain a 2. There is usually 2 ppl working and today they only had one who was doing till and cooking so maybe the reason why but still not a good reason to sacrifice what use to be the best burger on the island for staff shortage.

NO DOUBT THE BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD. I Had burger in many different places and cities including New York or Texas. This place amazes me. I never thought a burger can be this delicious. I live in Vancouver and I would drive all the way here just to have a burger. If you drive past here and not having a burger, for me that is like seeing a million dollars on the ground but not pick them up.All 4 special dish are recommended, can’t go wrong with any of them.

Yesterday the crew and l dropped every thing and went for lunch. We had the Sooke river burger so tasty so full of flavor we all enjoyed them lots to eat. l agree one of the best burgers hands full!! The chips were great too.Nice work
