End of season and we had the dining room to ourselves. Gigantic windows with a view on a splendid post rain cloud/sun drama. Service was top drawer and the food, was something to write home about.
I had a satisfying experience at this tranquil waterfront restaurant. The service was excellent, and the refreshing cider flights set a nice tone. I really enjoyed the peanut noodle bowl, which was bursting with flavor, and the chowder was rich, albeit with a stronger fish taste than expected. However, the Chicago pork sammie was a letdown, featuring a strong meat smell and lacking depth of flavor. The forage bowl didn’t excite me much either. That said, the fries were fantastic,...
Absolutely wonderful. We had a super informal “rehearsal” dinner here and they were lovely at helping us coordinate tables and everyone had an incredible meal. The Shwarma and the Ruby Rose cider were my choices and they were delicious. The staff was so wonderful with how many people there were and people moving tables. They don’t take reservations but we came at 5:30 on a Friday in October and were able to get in no problem and we ended up having a total of 15 people there....
