I went outside my box and ordered the Duck Wings, YUCK, never again, it was so over deep fried, absolutely no taste, just all deep fried flavor, and cooked beyond cooked, i didn't even get to enjoy the duck, it was like eating leather..............so bad

I've been to this establishment multiple times over the years and the food has been hit or miss each time I visit. I absolutely love fish and chips but was incredibly disappointed by what I was served. Flat, unseasoned, bland and not crispy. The only redeeming quality was the chowder which was quite delicious. Service is always top notch and you can't beat the views, however.

We were disappointed with the lamb shank dinner tonight. The lamb lacked any flavour and the mashed potatoes were flavourless and soupy with strings of parmesan cheese. The breakfasts we had were delicious though. Maybe, certain dishes are good and others, not so much?

Lovely location. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectation. The chowder was runny and tasteless. For a $22 bowl, portion was very small. My husband had a red fish and pasta dish and it too lacked flavour. His description was wow, is this ever bland. Mentioned to our server and nothing was corrected. We have since eaten at other locations in Sooke including Route 14 which was awesome. Too bad. Do better Westcoast Grill.

Once again extremely satisfied! Editing and adding pics as we have been back. A very cool place to visit! Feels like a mini vacation. Fine Dining, west coast ocean views and a stunning atmosphere!!! Book a reservation if you don’t want to wait 1-2hours. I appreciate the gluten free menu (but the deep fryer isn’t exclusively wheat free but the ingredients in gluten friendly are!) staff happy to accommodate allergies!
We opted to wait for an amazing balcony seat; and checked out the beautiful dock and gazebo. Then enjoyed a cranberry vodka at The Vault, it was the perfect date! Highly recommend this incredible experience!
The menu and prices are actually reasonable and pretty big portions too. Will be back!
