Atmosphere and service were pretty good. Food arrived hot, plated nicely. However, most of the food tasted disgusting.My daughter's grilled cheese sandwich barely had any cheese and she couldn't eat it, the bread was gross.My brussel sprout salad was smothered in oil and soggy, burnt taste, and the combination of pickled onions didn't taste good.The only thing that was tasty was the truffle fries. The calamari was okay, a bit limp.Won't be eating there again! Tried to redeem hotel coupons and took them forever to redeem one and give us the bill...Costs about $20-35/person without drinks.

lunch was very disappointing, beets were taken straight from the jar and plopped on my plate for my salad, very little or no dressing, teaspoon of feta/pecans combined.I asked the server if this was common, she did offer to take it to kitchen and dice it, one chunk weighed more than my husbands poor excuse for a hamburger paddy, which had about 4 inches of arugula on it for height, hamburger bun was so soggy he couldn't eat it, only saving grace for a 124.00 lunch was deep fried french fries and deep fried duck wings,

Driving through Sooke and dropped in for lunch. View is amazing, and space was beautiful. And our server was very kind. I wished the food matched the view and aesthetic. Ordered: the beet salad, New England chowder, west coast chowder, fried oysters and truffle fries. Beet salad could have used more seasoning. Fried oysters tasted frozen, not fresh. Chowder was OK, but couldn’t tell much of a difference between the two outside of some added seafood. Didn’t seem to justify the almost double price difference for the west coast chowder.Would come back for a drink and for the view! Food can use some improvement.

Was just passing through town and wanted to have dinner. Had a nice waterfront view and atmosphere. Our server Ashley was friendly and the food was awesome!
Fantastic place! We ordered the fish and chips, seafood pot and chicken ciabatta (3 people). Our server Karen was super nice! Made great recommendations on what to order. Highly recommend! We saw lots of seals and an eagle outside as well.

Beautiful location overlooking the water. Lovely decor and ambience. Service was okay, not fantastic.. Food was very disappointing and quite pricey. We ordered the clam chowder, which is not a chowder at all, it's a soup. Came to the table just warm and really didn't taste all that great. I'm not sure what herb they use, but it overpowered the flavor. As well we tried the fish n chips and the duck wings. The batter on the fish n chips was mostly soggy which was very unappealing. We removed most of it to make it palatable. The duck wings were good on first bite but the flavors are not balanced well as you continue to eat them. I really don't think we would come again and probably wouldn't recommend based on the items we tried.

It was delicious. Shared a bunch of appetizers with a couple friends and every dish was delicious. From the roasted root vegetables, the bucket of shrimp, duck wings, calamari, and beet salad. Every bite was fabulous.
