About 20 years ago I drove from Calgary to Vancouver and had some weird vertigo-in-ear-imbalance thing, happen to me. I pulled over many times, trying to gain some sense of normality. I could not make it and had to pull over to some side road - Texas chain saw massacre - Bates motel establishment. I also had to feed the kids. Want to rate this 3 1/2 actually, as the food itself is fine, but if you are in a hurry, don’t eat here.The servers were efficient and friendly, and although not even half full, the two could barely cope with the guests.We waited about 40 minutes after orders were taken. Coffee fill-ups had to be asked for, and by the time the 4 breakfasts came, the toasts were all cold. The food is plentiful and tasty, and the price reflects the portions. I wish I could rate this place higher, but the service today for breakfast was really slow and painful. The two servers were friendly and efficient, but had a hard time coping with a half-full dining area, so not sure what to expect when it’s really busy. The meals were worth the price, as the servings are large. After a 40-min. wait for the food, the toasts were all cold by then. Don’t stop here if you are in a hurry, otherwise it is a good bet.
