I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a very upsetting incident that occurred at your store. The staff member on duty displayed unacceptable and discriminatory behavior, which had a negative impact on my child’s emotional well-being.
My family purchased two meal combos, but the server refused to provide straws and ketchup. When my daughter politely approached her to ask for them, the server looked at her and immediately walked away to the back kitchen, ignoring her completely. This behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and deeply concerning.
Such treatment makes customers feel unwelcome and unfairly targeted. I respectfully request that management investigate this matter seriously and review the employee’s conduct, training, and suitability for a customer-facing role. Staff members should treat all customers equally and maintain professional standards at all times.
I expect a response and appropriate action regarding this issue. Thank you for your attention.

Just love our local A&W in South Surrey-White Rock. The food is consistently prepared with efficiency (as fast food is). The staff are friendly and they really care about the customers, especially my experiences with ARUN, AMY and NOOR (+ others). I enjoy their Teen Burgers and of course the classic A&W Rootbeer in a frosted glass (in-door only). Always a treat!

I had a great experience at A&W! The service was absolutely fantastic – the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment I walked in. They greeted me with a smile, took the time to get my order right, and made sure everything was fresh and served quickly. You can really tell they care about their customers and take pride in their work.
The team maintained a clean and comfortable environment, and their polite and respectful behaviour truly made my visit enjoyable. It’s refreshing to see such professionalism and kindness in customer service.

I visited this location on Monday evening and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Although my food was ready, the team member at the front did not hand it to me instead she was engaged in conversation and did not assist with serving customer or helping the colleague who appeared to be handling everything on her own. It was frustrating to see one person working hard and the other stood by doing nothing. I want to share this to ensure that this helps in providing better service.
