A1 Coffee and Donair has the best donair in the Lower Mainland, hands down. We come here a couple times a month and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is amazing every single time. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic place for Donair / shwerma. However, their quality dipped. Not sure why. The wraps are not as stuffed, not as nicely wrapped, and not toasted like they normally are ... Just doesn't feel like how their sandwiches used to be. Last two visits have been disappointing. I will go there again. And I hope the quality goes back up. In truth, New faces always come with different attention to quality... Just saying

My son was bear sprayed in this establishment today. The person working there yelled at my son and kicked him out. Thankfully my son had help and is now safe. Absolutely disgusting for any adult to not provide simple first aid and call authorities. You should be ashamed

This is the best late-night food spot in Surrey hands down. Booth seats are always clean, the large portions are always delicious, and the service is fast and welcoming. This place is always on the list whether I wanna grab some food after studying or just to hang with friends.

I ate at A1 Donair Coffee and unfortunately got sick afterward. I ordered beef and rice around noon, and later that day I experienced nausea, stomach pain, and diarrhea.
From the moment I walked in, I had concerns about the cleanliness of the restaurant. As someone who has worked in a kitchen, I understand how important proper sanitation and food safety practices are, and the overall conditions raised concern.
I’ve eaten at this establishment multiple times in the past without issue, which is why this experience was especially concerning. I would appreciate hearing back from the owner to better understand what may have happened and why I felt unwell after this visit. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve food safety and cleanliness moving forward.
