Unique restaurant with solid food. Staff is attentive and friendly and prices are reasonable. They even gave me a signed card for my birthday. My only suggestion would be to lower the volume of the music a little when there is belly dancing so customers can still chat. Overall great restaurant.

Went there for dinner with friends on weekend. Food and ambience was great but only thing which was not great was service. We wanted to add some more food items but server told us kitchen is closed. No last call was made before closing the kitchen, then we had to go home with half full stomach.

I had a wonderful experience here! I stopped in after finishing a bridal makeup session and was excited to try something new, since my city doesn’t offer many diverse food options. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be back again in the future!

Food and atmosphere was great. Server was fine in the beginning but after we paid and tipped (generously) she told us that there was another reservation and we had to leave even though there were 4 other empty tables. Seemed like she hurried us after we paid so she could get tips from the next customers. Disappointing as we were only there for 1.5 hours.

I was pleased to learn that Afghan Kitchen South Surrey is now open for lunch most days. I enjoyed a great business lunch there today. The lamb kebab dish was as tasty as it was visually appealing. I recalled my last visit a couple of years ago where, despite being someone that has never taken a picture of their meal to post on social media, I was tempted to that time given the colours and presentation on the lamb shank dish, which tasted as exceptional as it looked back then. I will have to return much sooner this time. With lunch being served now, that should be easier to do.

Good service and reasonably priced. Quality and taste of food is also one that checks all the boxes. Serving size is appropriate. The Halal option is also a +1 in my books.

We loved this place the first few times we went starting from when they first opened. We find that we are loving it less every time we've gone recently. The food was great but now is just good. On our last visit, the Persian rice had none of the warm spices it used to and my lamb shoulder was as much fat as meat. The service also felt a little perfunctory rather than the warm, friendly service we had before. While the experience was fine, we miss what it was.

My mom loved her experience last time, and she wanted to go again for her birthday this year - the catch? I (her son), live in Toronto now, but I was able to coordinate with the restaurant/the Manager and they were able to surprise her with the most incredible dining experience. Thank you so much for making her evening - she said it was one of her most memorable birthdays ever
