I had a wonderful first time experience at Afghan Kitchen. I reserved for early dinner and arrived while the happy hour specials were still available. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The food was fabulous, everything was mouth watering and flavourful. The food was both visually appealing and appetizing. Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu! We ordered the Afghan chicken nuggets, bolani bread, and the KBL to YVR platter. Everything was so delicious! Great portion size, had to pack to go. Amazing flavours.

I brought my children to visit the store on weekends. The overall feeling of the store is neat and orderly, and the store staff is friendly. I ordered a few common ones in the comment section and they tasted good. Especially the muscles can be made very soft and moist, which is very suitable to my taste. The kids loved it too. The guests come from all ethnic groups and it seems like a place that everyone likes! ?

One of the highlights of Bolani is its versatility - it can be enjoyed as a snack, appetizer, or even a main course and Pokarwas are simple yet delicious, often enjoyed on their own or paired with various chutneys and sauces.
My introduction to Afgan cuisine was blown away with the complex yet inviting flavors richly spiced but comforting ! The plating and sides was fantastic. Going back for more soonest possible.

This is and remains my favourite restaurant, which is why it was a no brainer for my birthday. Two of my friends have never been and they loved it. Ambiance is warm and cozy, everything was delicious, and my dessert came with a birthday candle, happy birthday message, and the birthday song was played. You feel almost like a family member at AK and I would highly recommend.
