Came here expecting to eat Japanese/Korean food. Didn’t notice the “under new management” sign and menu is full on korean. Ordered the donkatsu and gamja tang. The donkatsu was so tender and the sauce was buttery with hints of nuttiness to it. I knew the gamja tang would be better than the average when I saw it had radish leaves and Korean dae pa (green onion). The meat was stewed perfectly where it fell off the bone when gently tugged at. I was surprised by the owner's attentive service and the taste that was more Korean than domestic food.
I heard that while eating Japanese food, I changed it to Korean food such as cod soup and soft tofu soup.
The spicy soup is killer.
This is a restaurant I want to go to often when I'm in Korea.

Typical Japanese restuarant. I think same owners from location by Guildford but disappointed with layout (old place much better) and server during day is very 'cold'. Food decent but salmon on teriyaki is not high quality (cooked from frozen?) last 2 visits.
