I had the best gol gappe here. The standing gol gappe stand is amazing. The staff is the kindest and they are so all fun to talk too. I love the types of pani we can have. I feel like I am in punjab.

I have eaten here earlier as well and though on the previous occasions I didn't have a opinion on the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised with the qualitative changes in quality of food and decor.

The service also has improved significantly for the better.

I had a very disappointing experience at Apna Chat House. I specifically ordered the noodles spring roll from the starter menu (priced at $7.99)—I even pointed to it while placing the order. However, when the bill arrived, they charged me $13.99 for a completely different spring roll that I never ordered. On top of that, the spring rolls they served were clearly frozen and tasteless.

When I raised the issue, the staff casually told me that they had “mistakenly” taken the order for another item. Instead of correcting it, they expected me to just accept the overcharge. This is unacceptable.

Good customer service is about taking responsibility and fixing errors, not making customers pay for them. The lack of accountability and professionalism here ruined the entire experience.

I picked up my order I asked her to check if everything is there she said yes there was 2 orders of spring rolls missing. Then what ever I got tha taste was not good at all spring was worst. Vada pao was so dry I don't think they are caring tha same quality as before. Very bad experience. I ordered 200$ it was my birthday party food. Waist of money.

We drove especially all the way from Seattle to enjoy the best street food in North America. Panee poori with many choices of spiced water blends closer to India made daily fresh. Matka chart and raj kachori and sweet lime soda served in kulhar was amazing. I can keep going with every item on menu. It's an experience cannot be described. I told them to open in Ontario. Visit to BC or Seattle is incomplete without visiting them.
Thanks to the owners and staff for serving us great food with best customer service.

This place is like a pilgrimage when we go to Surrey. There’s not a single trip where we didn’t go to Apnaa chaat house. Amazing food, wonderful hospitality, and nostalgic ambiance with the funny posters and graphics.

We love eating chaats, gol gappas, parathas and samosas. Our friends also loved the chicken drumsticks - best they’ve ever had.

Given the amazing food the place does get quite busy on holidays, long weekends and peak hours. But we don’t mind.

Loved the food! great service with friendly staff and the ambience and decor was amazing! although my only complaint would be that there are a lot of jokes there on the walls which is fine, but their all directed towards sikhs/punjabis which further stereotypes them. we shouldn’t be pushing stereotypes and if there are jokes written around on posters, it shouldn’t be just sardar! I am not furious or anything but I think either don’t just make the sikhs a joke either include all or none.
