Tucked in the corner of 153rd street in Surrey is a small restaurant serving some of the most delicious and authentic Filipino cooking. The staff are not shy of using crunchy lechon and the Filipino lime (calamansi). And very price point as well.

The crispy is very crispy, the tapsilog is super yummy. Mom says the Kare Kare is pretty good too. And the Lugaw is perfect for hangovers. The portions is pretty good. Price is very fair too. I would highly recommend. The pictures that the other reviewers left is accurate. I would have taken pictures too but I ate them too fast.
Also ordering pick up they are very efficient. 4 orders and only had to wait 10mins. So I ordered and drive their slowly. :)

I have been going to Archies for as long as i remember and this has always been my go to, I truly love this place and it always makes me feel at home with the many Filipino dishes that they offer.

I’ve been eating at Archie’s since 2021, and until now, I never had an experience bad enough to make me rethink coming back. I rarely order online, but last night, I did—and I regret it. Despite their Uber Eats profile had missing items, I still gave them a chance.
Unfortunately, my order arrived with a hair in the food, which, as a chef myself, I find completely unacceptable. On top of that, both my partner and I experienced severe bloating and stomach discomfort after eating. This has never happened to me before at Archie’s, which makes me question if the food was stale or handled poorly.
It’s disappointing because this used to be my go-to spot for a taste of home, a comforting Filipino meal in Surrey. I even recommended it to others. But after this experience, I won’t be returning, nor will I suggest it to anyone anymore. Hygiene and food safety should be a priority, and sadly, it seems like Archie’s has let that slip.

Ordered from Uber eats. Spaghetti was cheap more noodle than anything. 1/3rd covered in a thin real thin Layer of meat sauce and super thin cheese layer... huge disappointment. Even the garlic bread was thin sliced and about the size of half a slice of bread. Super cheap considering the advertising menu. Will not order again
