Our server today was absolutely excellent. Her name is Ali. She offered great options for my son, who loves beef oshi and fried California rolls but doesn’t like spicy sauce. She was very patient and attentive. When my son asked if his beef oshi could be torched to warm it up—since it took him a while to eat—she happily did so with a smile.
I also loved my pork katsudon. The flavor was just right, and the portion was huge—I always end up taking leftovers home. Thank you, Ali, for the wonderful service!

I did not have an issue with the food itself, it was fine to good, no complaints. But I did have an issue with the service. It was me and my two friends dining in, and as we were about to pay and one of the servers tells my friend “no tip?” twice as she saw the transaction go through. Hearing that made it extremely uncomfortable. By then I believed she assumed that I wasn’t going to tip either, so she just gave a side look when she walked away as if I did something wrong. No one is entitled to gratitude/tips. Believe me if I had more money I would always be willing to tip, but sure as hell not after such service.

The food is great no doubt about it ! The problem is the service.. there is no rule that says I have to tip… and tips depend on the type of service that is provided. If you don’t bother to even fill up my water once or ask our table if we need anything and came twice (once during initial order taking and second time when deliverin food) you haven’t done much and I don’t care if I ate $1000 worth of food, I DONT HAVE TO TIP YOU AND YOU DONT HAVE THE RIGHT TO RIDICULE ME FOR IT. Came here on an afternoon with my friend and when we paid the bill we did tip but the waitress was unhappy with the amount so she started arguing with us telling us “standard is 10% minimum” .. there is no minimum, and your service is terrible so instead of telling us to tip you maybe improve your standards or find another job ! Absolutely pathetic

Ato is the absolute best Sushi I’ve had to date in the lower mainland BC. My favourite item here is the Salmon Oshi - the best I’ve ever had! Arguably (and controversially) I find it better than Minami’s Salmon Oshi! Truly fantastic spot.
Best sushi I've had in the suburbs. Great service. Very accommodating of my child's celiac, great with gluten-free. We order here at least once a week.

Great service and you can tell the food was prepared meticulously, Their UnagiCrunch roll was not oversauced like most korean sushi places. Highly recommend to anyone lookin for sushi in the area.
