Coming in from out of town. Dropped in with only 15 minutes until closed. Still greeted with a smile, and calmly answered my million questions. We had the carnitas tacos and Burrito with sauce. Delicious. Don't forget the homemade habenero, smooth full of flavor, and dials it up to eleven.

Very good enchiladas, with a nice flavorful rojo and verde sauce. I would have given the food 5 stars if they had a better hot sauce other than Tapatio. For $25, you expect a nice houseade hot sauce. Would also be nice to get chips and salsa, as is the norm for local places. But, very very good otherwise.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Greater Vancouver.
Ay Chihuahua is a great little hole in the wall for lunch. Advertised as authentic Mexican, it is surely reminiscent of small family run Mexican seen all along the west coast of the states. We ordered posole and chicken quesadilla. The posole was filled with chucks of fork tender pork, hominy and a delicious, moderately spicy broth. Fried tortilla chips and greens were on the side, to add to the soup as you liked. The quesadilla was also very good, but I would definitely return for another bowl of their posole. 5 stars for that, worth the trip!
