Barcelos Flame Grilled Chicken- Nordel

This place used to be good when it first opened with the original owners, portions were good, flavour was excellent, now this place is horrible, the chicken is undercooked and flavourless, I’d avoid this place it’s a rip off. It’s amazing how a well run restaurant can just turn into garbage in a short amount of time.

Visited this location of Barcelos on a Monday afternoon. We were the only people dining. Chicken, fries and garlic bread were pretty good. We tried the spiciest one and were very good. Didn’t like the coleslaw too much. Service was very friendly. Their chicken is halal which adds an extra point.

Store was empty. Ordered 3 items. 1 was the wrong sauce. After I repeated the correct one. And I found hard what looked like a bone in my wrapb

Visited Barcelos in Surrey on a Friday night and ordered tacos with chips. The tacos came out, but the chips never did. We only realized after we had already finished eating and had to remind the staff. At that point, they packed the chips to go instead of serving them with the meal as intended.
What stood out most was that the restaurant was completely empty on a Friday evening, which was surprising and didn’t create much of an atmosphere.
Overall, the experience felt disorganized and underwhelming. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning anytime soon.

Menu Favorites: We usually snack on the chargrilled chicken (very peri/supa peri), chicken liver (prego) and the Mango Kiwi Lime Cheesecake here whenever we are around.
Staff: Friendly, prompt and available.
Ambiance: Typical Barcelos setup with bright lighting and seating for groups of all sizes.
