This place feels like a hidden gem in South Surrey. The atmosphere can be a bit noisy depending on when you go, but honestly, it is worthy to spend your free time there. The prices are also quite reasonable, which makes the experience even better. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should go at least once!

I’ve had some very negative experiences at Baselines when Kiana Loustau is working. I’ve seen guests treated unfairly and felt the service was unprofessional and concerning at times. I would recommend visiting when other staff are on shift. Please look at your bills and double check there are no extra drinks that you did not drink when she is serving.

I came here with my friend expecting the usual great time, but this visit was seriously disappointing because of one of the bartenders. From the moment we interacted with her, her attitude was cold and dismissive. At one point, my friend jokingly said something like “sorry we’re being high maintenance” (which we absolutely weren’t, we were polite and relatively quiet). Instead of taking it lightly, she snapped back with, “if you know you’re being high maintenance the least you could do is tip.” That was completely uncalled for.
What made it worse was that my friend always tips generously. He was literally pulling out a $100 tip when she doubled down and got other people at the bar involved to shame him. Then she had the audacity to say “no, he can keep it, clearly he needs it more,” loud enough for everyone to hear. It was humiliating, totally unnecessary, and ruined the vibe for the night. Honestly, I’ve never seen someone in customer service act that way, and it’s frustrating to see a loyal, high-tipping customer get treated like that. If management sees this, I really hope they reach out. This bartender is driving good people away from your business.

Normally I have a great experience here, however tonight our bartender was the rudest and saddest individual I’ve ever seen in the customer service space. First off, I give my tips at the end of the night which has never been a problem and second we ordered the most simple drinks on the planet so the entitlement was completely unnecessary. I tried to plead my case and instead she rallied other drunks at the bar to shame me as I was pulling my intended $100 tip out of my wallet then threw in “no he can keep it clearly he needs it more”. She ruined the night, was super loud about it and has now lost a permanently well paying customer, I would love the management to reach out so I can point out to you exactly who is costing your bar business.
