Teriyaki sauce was a total joke and worst ever I 3xperinced in over 50 years of being a teriyaki sauce liver. Told waitress, she told me I was wrong.tasted like beef broth and soya sauce, no sweet tang at all. First and last time here.

Quiet and clean, good service, superb food. Boats and hot plates. Tried them all, and Maple Sushi is by far the best.

Dunning the one and half year of Covid 19 pandemic , sad to see a lot of restaurants struggling to stay afloat , lot of them just shut their door for good , , some owner started cut back quality , hop in for late lunch after dropping my aunt off from the hospital, first time visit , looks a young family run , not a big place , but Safety guidelines well performed , clean and cozy atmosphere , I feel very comfortable about it , menu is a single use , it is almost 2pm , still the place is packed , lot of take out ,,I choose the Sashimi Benton , one of the best experiences I had for Benton , WOW ! WOW ! surprised to see the Thick cut of Salmon ,Tuna ,Tai Sashimi , the owner is not cutting back !!! and it is so fresh just melt in my month ,very colourful , the teriyaki chicken very delicious , rice can improved , little soft , but over all fantastic Japanese Sushi place , very affordable staff very friendly , she come back twice make sure I am happy ! this restaurant can stand side by side at any 5 star restaurant in Vancouver ! for their quality and service , well done ! I will be back for sure ! if you are in the area ,give it a try !you will thank me for it !

Ordered for pick-up at this restaurant and the place is very busy for take home at a dinner time. The place is very nice, neat and clean and staff are wearing face coverings and offering hand sanitizer and tables were setup for social distancing. The food was very good and very tasty. No wonder they’re very busy. I will definitely go back here and try other dishes.

When I took my food back and showed them how the rice smelt & food smelt old, the owner came storming from the back & instead of being sorry he was arguing with me.. I would not recommend this place. To keep there customers, all they had to do was remake the $12 order, instead they said sorry the food is fresh. I love sushi, but SUSHI KING GEORGE would have to be the WORST SUSHI restaurant in surrey, horrible customer service & cheap food quality. No wonder there prices are so cheap! you get what you pay! Because I wrote a review, now the owner "Danny Kim" doesn't stop calling me - get a life

We just moved to Surrey and have been searching for our new sushi place. We found it! The bento box deals at Sushi King George are amazing their Chicken Teriyaki is the best I’ve ever had!
