Big Star Sandwich Co. (South Surrey)

Ordered this off uber eats. Usually Big Star Sandwich is great however today I have order the Big & Tall and it couldn’t have been more disgusting. The packaging was wet, the meat tasted like dog food and as if it was expired. The smell was rancid, the bread was cold and soaking wet. Horrible experience and probably won’t order from them again

Turkey cranberry ( number 01) on rye and roast beef with hickory sticks (number 04) sub both were so wet swimming in mayo the rye bread was totally dripping on cranberry mayo the bread was pink the sub was dripping when I bit into the sandwich the mayo was running down my hand arm following apart we DID not ask for extra sauce
Service was great as this was our first time counter staff was going over the over whelming with so much to read

Should’ve known when i walked in and there were no prices on the menu….

40$ for 2 sandwiches and they don’t even include a drink!

Really good sandwiches.

Can be a bit overwhelming to look at the board, but that also means they have a lot of options. My sibling is vegetarian and loves their stuff.

10x better than Subway in my opinion.

It's nice to visit a sandwich 🥪 shop rather than the usual sub shop options. I ordered a No 1 (Turkey with stuffing & cranberry sauce) and added cheese & lettecue. There are a ton of options but if you make a variation to the sandwich you pay for each (as usual). Substitutions are free. A regular size is already $15. I did enjoy the unique bun and real Turkey. Overall the menu is nothing short of OVERWHELMING (waaaay too much to read) and I am a straightforward kind of gal when it comes to sandwiches so all the funky sauces, toppings are not my thing. Service was meh and parking was chaotic.

Good sandwich.

Horrible experience here. I asked for no cheese and no honey mustard. Then had the staff member repeat my order to ensure it was correct as they seemed to be having difficulty ei language barrier. There was a lot of back and forthas they didnt understand so i was making sure my sandwhich wasnt messed up.Then I get my sandwich and leave. Get home, go to eat and it's loaded up with both items I specifically said I do not want on it. Huge waste of money and time. This has got to be the 3rd or 4th time at this location that it's been a mess and a big waste of money. Never coming to this location again, ever.. Strongly advise you avoid it. If you like Big Star then go to the Richmond location. Amazing and the staff are have always been great.

First the 4rd time coming to this location they make my sandwich incorrectly. I tell the workers 3 or more times AND get them to repeat it back to me that I don't want a certain condiment on my sandwich and to instead use a different condiment, and EVERY time they nod and say the understand, and then I get a sandwich with exactly what I did NOT want on it. Most times I check now and get them to remake it when they do it wrong, but this time I didn't check because I had to leave, and I get to my destination and its wrong....AGAIN. They look you right in the eye and just ignore what you're saying to them. Won't be coming back here ever again and will not recommend to others. Staff needs training on listening and understanding requests. Ironwood location in Richmond is where I'm going from now on.
(no issues at other Big Star locations)

as per inflation 20 bucks is the new 6.50$ so ya can’t complain about price action it is accurate to inflation try to accurately represent a nurse’s wage compared to the services and you would see a asset with no intrinsic value like the bitcoin scammers aka nepotism amongst the women of Canada in a biased act of arbitrage against men’s brain health by actively poisoning male brains with cancer causing meds involuntarily because the thoting around deceitful women are soliciting bribes from humans in India where’s the LOA of plumbers o wait lol it’s just for rent a nurses

Ordered #1 and 10 a potato salad and a tomato soup. Got 2 potato salads and the worst 10 I've had. I think they have an angry staff member on the sauce station. So much I literally had to eat it with a knife and fork. Uber eats cant refund and no action available.
