One of my go to for lunch! Fast and yummy with lots of flavor and options.

A lot of these reviews talk about stale bread. I have gone on a Friday and Saturday and both times the bread has been super fresh. These sandwiches are delicious. Maybe they have listened to the comments because I found the bead to be fresher than subway. Give this place another try if you’re in the area.

Big star was an absolute waste of my money. I wish I would have read the reviews before wasting my lunch hour on this place….. the sandwich I ordered was a monster melt disgusting mess…. Had to Throw half of it away. Could not eat it. Way over priced. Horrible!!

I wasn't super impressed with this place. I struggle writing "bad" reviews. But I ordered the smallest size sandwich. It was nearly 18$ and it wasn't very good. Sauce made the bread soggy fairly quickly, everything kept falling out and it was hard to eat, the sandwich itself was overall just meh...
Service was fine.

Sorry to say I had a very bad visit to The Big Star Sandwich Co. In South Surrey (White Rock). First I was served by a girl that did not ask me what I want on my sandwich, and said I did not want spicey stuff. But she said she put halopina peppers on it, but # 20 did not say it, and then had another lady come out and tell me the girl did not understand me - I am so tired of going to a resturant and having experiences like not understanding English...... and then I have to be OK with that and stick with my item (sandwich) how it was made. I may have highered my voice and express a little anger, but of course I was not asked if they can do anything. Until I expressed more anger and feed up with this customer service. They gave me a cookie for the mis- understanding.... ha ha. Well tried the sandwich in my car - could not eat it and will bring it home. Got a stomach ache 10 minutes later. Got home rearranged the sandwich, had the sandwich, a few bites again. 5-10 min. later stomach ache.. was on not feeling good, came out both sides! I believe that the Corner Beef or what ever was in the sandwich Got me sick! Are you sure the meat was not bad - smelt like it. I will never go to that location again. Or maybe any location, not impressed with NO chicken!

Ordered #21 ( Pulled Pork, Ham , Swiss cheese , hickory sticks , lettuce , Smokey mustard ) I have eaten at the new west location and this sandwich is always my favourite. They definitely make sure to fill it up with a good amount of meat and sauce. They unfortunately did forget my extra slices of habanero jack cheese which I did pay extra for which kinda sucks. But overall very tasty, good presentation and good portion size for the price.

I would say that the big star sandwich is more of a big disaster sandwich. The quality was absolutely terrible, a turkey sandwich should be hot & fresh. I regret wasting my $21.50 on this big loser of a sandwich! Ingredients were not fresh, bacon was cold & awful so I can tell you don't fry real bacon strips in there, and the portion size of your sandwiches are not worth 21.50 ! That was all I ordered, just the #25. Do not go here !!! Go to Firehouse Subs if you want your monies worth for a delicious sub !

Garbage food. Don't waste your money. Stale bread. Disgusting turkey. Dry af. $45 for 2 sandwiches and a drink? That's insane. There's so many more food places in the Plaza. Don't eat here.

Ordered a 31 which I thought was vegetarian but I ended up with a sandwich with two kinds of meat on it! Very disappointed

Everything I ask for easy one the mayo they dump huge amount and don't understand english
She also tried to wipe it off and then lift the contents from the sandwich I refused . Wrong people running this operation

Simply - double the price of Subway
or Quiznos and not as good. Confusing menu

I like everything about this place, but too much sauce on a stale bun( It's like the the last bread delivery was days ago). The service was great. I'll go back. This is Easter Monday. I imagine their last bakeriy Delivery was days ago.

The sandwiches were ok but definitely overpriced for what you get. Stuff from ceiling falling on the floors and tables around us were in need of cleaning while staff were chitchatting behind counter then disappeared to back. Won’t be going back.

The good part is that the staff are friendly, but it was downhill from there. Stale bread and buns, corned beef was awful and the turkey wasn’t much better. This place was a lot better when it first opened a few years back, so not sure what happened there. Go to the Carvery instead, or even Subway. It’s also way overpriced. Take a pass.
