I recently joined this blenz cafe and there is a very rude elderly boss who owns it and he made me work for a day and says it is discovery shift and you have to observe the things how it is being done there and didn't paid me. Further he scheduled me for another day and I asked him very politely that have you hired me? Are you gonna pay for this shift? Because he hasn't taken any of my document that that is necessary for a legal procedure to get hired. Why would I work for another day and observe how things work at your coffee shop without getting paid? Also I actually worked rather than only observing.
And he said that you are talking mean things to me.
I said this is my right to ask you should clarify these to this prior to work. And he started yelling on me so disrespectfully which is not acceptable. I think you should learn some etiquettes how to talk. This is not the way you should treat people. I asked which was necessary for me to start a job and it is my right. It was a worst experience with you.

i wanted to take a little snack and drink before i headed off to the library, i assumed this one lady was working as a trainee and it was understandable if you were still getting adjusted to the new work environment however, i saw one other staff member yell at the lady which made me quite uncomfortable order from here again. the drink i ordered tasted like water from the last two visits; i ordered the mochachillo. anyways i really dont think i'd come here again after those two visits.

Owner or manager was incredibly rude to a staff member who appeared to be in training. It was really uncomfortable and not the kind of business I want to support.

Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this place. I work in the area and come here often and today I saw the staff drop a drink on the floor and they picked up the same cup wiped it off refilled half the cup and served it to the customer before me.

The man asked me if I wanted to order a drink and I let him know that I just saw you drop a drink on the floor wipe it off and serve it to a customer so no thanks.

The drinks are all pretty yummy but skip the baked goods. Every time I’ve forgotten and grabbed a cookie/cinnamon bun/loaf slice it’s been so stale that it’s barely edible.

Very friendly Batista here, service always good . Make you fell you are important. Close to the library and swimming pool. Nice to come visit with the kids. Cannot Wait for reopening after rec center renovation done

This guy working there is not washing the blender out between customers and I asked him to and he started aggressively raising his voice telling me no and I told him Health canada requirements states he does ... he was fiting with me over it and I told him to wash it or I would report him ..if you saw the blender it looked like he hadn't washed it all day ...I will never return to this location again !!!! 😒
