love the food and loving staff
the tofu soup is one of the best ones ive had
I attend a restaurant, for the most part, to enjoy the food and with luck good service. Not to gaze in admiration and awe at inspired interiors. Yes the wood furniture may feel a little rustic and creaky, but it actually lends itself to the ambiance.
Buy the cutlets, oh mercy the pork cutlets. You ever have that dream where you are conducting a symphony Orchestra, but all the musicians are cutlets? This place just might take you there. Not only do they fill the plate wide and high, they and their sauce are simply delicious. Especially the spicy sauce, highly recommended. Not brutally spicy but with rich deep flavours. Ah succulent cutlets and savory unami galore.
And the service was fantastic and very friendly. And there are free refills on the kimchi and pickled daikon. Did I mention the cutlets?
Highly, highly recommend going here. Bring your appetite!
The portion was MASSIVE. love the seaweed roll appetizer. I have to bring home the cutlet because it was a lot, and still good for the next day! Honestly, the best place in the area, totally worth it!! Will be my go to place from now on.
The best Fried chicken you find in the town!
This place is definitely a hidden gem and has become our family's new favorite for Korean food! We tried the half-and-half chicken (honey garlic and cheese flavors) and the beef bulgogi, and both were huge portions and super tasty. Great value for the money! Can’t wait to come back!
I love the pork cutlet here. The thick and juicy meat, paired with the crispy, snowflake-like texture on the outside, is just irresistible. The tonkatsu sauce also tastes like something you can only find at this place. You can dip it generously, and with just one bite, it brings you happiness. The portion size is big too, which I really like. The bibim makguksu is also delicious—it’s full of fresh veggies, almost like a salad. The jokbal and bossam are incredibly tasty as well. Among all the Korean restaurants in Surrey, this one is the best for me.
Might be biased because we live 3 minutes away, but whatever we have tried has been superb! We come over every other month, and Bon Ga never disappoints. Rose Tteokbokki, Fried chicken and Pork Katsu are our favourites.
One of Surrey's hidden gems. Authentic korean food with big portions and reasonable prices.
They have a variety of dishes, from korean fried chicken to kimchi tofu soup.
The jumbo tonkatsu is my recommendation.
Always delicious and friendly staffs!
The pork cutlet was served in three layers at Bonga, so I couldn't finish it all and brought it back. Bonga's signature dish seems to be pork cutlet. The raw beef and pig's feet are also delicious, as is the makguksu.

Came in last night with my girlfriend to be seated with no wait, but was never given any service at all. No cutlery, water cups or even a menu was brought to us. The only reason we had a menu was from one already placed on the table. After 20 minutes of watching and waiting while being ignored by any of the servers. 2 other parties came in for walk in and were promptly seated. I watched the servers give them their cutlery menus and water cups after they had been seated. Absolutely terrible service and a complete waste of our time. We had thought maybe it was just busy for the staff so we patiently waited. Appalling service to say the least to be completely ignored for over 20minutes without ever being served a single plate or cup. Food looked good from what i saw but a lack of service kills this place.
yeah so we waited for 20 mins just to 1) be ignored by staff and 2) watch the staff give plates to a group of people who came in twenty mins after us, immediately after they came in. i’m sure the food is good but service, or the lack thereof, was trash
Enormous portions. Be warned, when you order, consider splitting the plate. The food and service were exceptional. The 3 star is because we had to request to be moved as there were ants crawling all over the bench and table we were first seated.
The food portion is generous for the price. The pork cutlet was tasty, and the fried garlic chickens were amazing. Would definitely come back and recommend this place.
I paid $2 for the radish
