Ordered 2 bubba tea. Drinks were average. I asked less ice. But they again put too much ice. My tooth is still acing. When I finish the drink, 30% of glass was still having ice. At entrance there was no sign of cash or debit card. When I went for check out, they asked we only accept debit/cash. Which is their policy. I am ok with that. But they should have expressly communicate this I usually pay with apple pay. They said we can take payment from apple pay credit card but will charge two dollars for service fee. It was their fault they did not communicate at first instance and they ask for 2 dollar service fee which was actually 14 % of the transaction amount. Average credit card service fee in Canada is 2.4% to maximum of 3.5%. When i said, “I didn’t like it”. Lady was so rude. She replied “we also dont like it, every restaurant charge service fee so do we”. My question is does every restaurant charge 14% service fee?

Highly recommend! The food here is great as always. Ordered the popcorn chicken and custom fried rice. The fried rice was very well seasoned and good enough to eat by itself, something other restaurants lack sometimes. The popcorn chicken was hot and tasty too. Nice quiet seating for a relaxing lunch.

i used to love this place when i was living near Surrey Cntrl. i just had an errands to do in the area so i decided to order food from here again after years. to my surprise and disappointment, the beef stew that i usually order only had 4 pieces if beef chunks! 4 freaking pieces! when i ordered here before back in 2019-2020, their serving size was really large for 2 people and now, i couldn't even share with my husband and kid! such a disappointment! i know inflation never stops, but i hope your good service and large serving portions won't stop either! go back to being better!

been going here since i was a little toddler and the food is sooooo good. i love coming here and would come more often if i didn't live far away. my favorite dishes are the ketchup rice with chicken and shrimp as well as the iron plate with chicken, noodles and mushroom sauce and popcorn chicken for sides/dessert i always get the brown sugar boba and 88 pudding. def recommend!

If you are craving for Chinese food. This is the best restaurant in Surrey where every needs of yours are met. I visited them many many times and tried almost everything on their menu. and they NEVER fail to disappoint me. Their food are impeccable, from soup to dessert to their sides. I especially love their fried chicken rice, the chicken is crispy, yet smooth and tender. Their pudding is also a must have. I truly appreciate that they make simple food that delicious. Whenever Im home sick, it is my go to. Food may be a bit pricy, but for the size and quality, ive nth to complain! I truly hope they continue to serve this community as it's a rarely found gem around Surrey station.
To add: sides like shredded potato and spicy vermicelli are freaking amazing!!!

I don’t know if they forgot to add it? 1/5 2) The hot and sour soup is more like peppery soup - it isn’t hot or sour. (I put the leftovers in a glass bowl as seen in the photo but it is unaltered) It tasted ok but it’s not like any hot and sour soup I’ve ever had elsewhere. 1/5 3) Popcorn chicken tastes decent, but is either slightly below or on par with average. 3/5.

I shouldn't come, they only ask you to tip $1. I was enjoying their food. But unfortunately, I will no longer be able to support this restaurant. Today, I went to this shop to order a small dessert, I went to the counter to decide whether to eat or not and paid at the counter, there were no tables, all the food was for myself. The lady told me that if you don't tip you are not allowed to eat at the restaurant, and you have to take out. She also educated me – if you eat out you MUST tip. Wait madam, tipping is for good service, not mandatory. And there was no table service at all. The item I ordered was $6 and 15 cents was only $1. The thing is, there was no table service of any kind. I don't understand why they like to break their reputation and customer relationship just for 1 dollar.
