The fish I found was fried nice the fries were okay could be crispier and the beans and coleslaw were very bland, watery and not worth getting, the service has really dropped off as well, getting an annoyed and like they don’t wanna be there vibe(they never checked on us at all had to go to the front for anything), and when my mom and I went to pay we left a tip, the waitress just standing there didn’t say anything and we asked so It went through ? Yes…. It did ! 😤was the response we got. We were just left confused and sure we won’t be back

Had the AUCE fish, first batch wasn’t that fresh. Second order was much better, even a lighter colour. I ordered a gravy for my fries and sent it back because it tasted burnt. She charged me for it anyway because I ordered it. 😅

Would give no stars if I could. We usually like going here. We have many times. But this time, we pull up and walk in and wait to be seated. The 2 cooks turned and looked at us and pointed and started laughing and whispering to each other. We said to ourselves, what are they laughing about? The server came and seated us. The restaurant is an open concept and so we could still see the 2 cooks. They continued to whisper and laugh. We did not feel comfortable eating there as we wanted to enjoy our food because it was our anniversary. So we got up and left. As we were leaving, I told the server that we changed our minds and didn't feel comfortable because her 2 cooks were laughing at us. All she said was OK. And so we left. We parked right up front and when getting into our car we can still see the 2 cooks staring at us and watching us. We were so embarrassed. And it ruined our anniversary.
I called the restaurant the next day to talk to a manager to let them know what happened. He just listened to my story and then after apologized and said he would talk to the cook about it. We told him we would never go back there, which was a shame because we did like it there. He didn't offer anything to us or even ask for my phone number to let me know what was said to the 2 cooks.Then I went onto their website to give a review. I told them what happened. I have not received anything from head office either

Excellent place for fish and chips.
The service was exceptional and the staff was very courteous and friendly. Food was delicious. We had Cod Dinner and Prawn Dinner. My kudos to the staff and the owner.

Fish was delicious, lightly battered, perfect crisp. Tasted very fresh. Huge portions for great price. Chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect.

It's fine, but not fantastic. The fish was cooked nicely, fries were home cut, a little under done, but ok. Coleslaw was gloopy. The atmosphere isn't nice. Just a tired, old 80s style interior. So nothing wrong, the server was nice, just nothing special.

We got the all you can eat. Came with 6 pieces of fish and fries. Also got 2 piece cod dinner with added prawns and shared a battered mushroom appetizer. Great food, fantastic service. Very clean dinning experience 👌
