The food was over-all great and loved it was quite cheap for a one item one rice sort of thing-- but unknown culture wise, as I'm not chinese myself-- it felt rather very sweet to tasteless with what we got most of the time, but I would recommend if you're starving and they're open and luckily not out of food.

I was on my way to T and T . I saw this little eatery in the mall.
Very friendly and polite staff.
The food was very tasty and well prepared. We had ginger beef and pork roast slices. We also had hot and sour soup which was freshly prepared! Taste was very good!
The taste was excellent!
This will be our new stopover when in Surrey!

The white rice is perfect here. Price is a bit more expensive than normal 1,2 or 3 items with rice. The guys here try to give you a good amount of food when you order 2 items.

chan’s kitchen is an absolute gem—especially if you’re a JH student looking for good food without breaking the bank. tucked in a modest spot, this place delivers big flavor for small prices, which is exactly what makes it a go-to for students in the area. the portions are generous, the menu is stacked with tasty options (their sweet & sour pork and fried rice are solid picks), and everything comes out hot and fresh.

what really sets chan’s apart is the vibe—it’s fast, friendly, and super casual. no frills, just good eats that hit the spot. it’s the kind of place where you can roll in with your friends during school, grab a full meal, and still have change left over for bubble tea later.

if you go to JH and you haven’t been to chan’s yet... what are you doing? it’s a rite of passage. seriously, for the price and portion, it’s a total bang for your buck.

politely advised.

Amazing customer service, Great prices. Love supporting a local small business that delivers great food!
Our school ordered hot lunch from Chans Kitchen. 135 orders and ALL WERE DELICIOUS. The kids loved their lunches and we have been asked if we will order from them again!
The quality as great from the 1st order to the last 135th order! I would absolutely order from Chans Kitchen for our family dinner.

We visited as it opens. Food looks very fresh. I had thick noodle with choice of ginger chicken, sweet&sour potk. Wife had fried rice with long beans, chicken vegetable.

Thick noodle was delicious with fire taste. Ginger chicken, sweet&sour pork was average. Fried rice was also ok average. Their long beans were good. It was very crispy and good balance with sauce. Chicken vegetable was average.

If i visit again, i will choose thick noodle, long beans and maybe some other meat choice.

Ordered 9 dishes king size , easily can feed 20-25 people and still have left overs .I been eating here for over 20 years but first time for catering and I can say his catering food was way better then eating at his tnt food court place , the fried rice was way different then the one he serves at the food court , pepper salt prawns were cleaned unlike most places they don't devein them and good size too . 10/10 for the pepper salt prawns, 10/10 for sweet and sour fish , deep fried pork chop , egg foo young was perfectly done , the tofu was big hit , black bean fish , prawn fried rice was legit , I can say the catering food def exceeded my expectations, and they are not cheap with their portions . Whenever I do big orders anywhere else there is always something that is off or disappointing , so with this said considering over all results, taste , portion size , freshness etc I'd say 10/10 for my experience and everyone at the party agrees

I liked their crispy pork. You can also customize or upgrade the meal combos that they offer. The serving portion is generous too.

Consistently tasty food from this unassuming spot. You can walk up and order stuff, or call ahead for specific items on their menu. Hard to resist getting something from here with each visit to t&t!
