One of the employees there has an attitude problem and needs to learn basic customer service skills. As someone who also works in customer service, it doesn’t take much to have basic manners towards customers. I walk up to place an order, and not one hi, hello, or greeting was uttered and this dude looked at me like I was stupid or something. I don’t know the persons name but it was a male, maybe 5’8 and wears makeup. He gave me one of those fake smiles and instantly dropped it??? That alone didn’t really bother me but how he interacted with an older lady after me was just disrespectful and rude. Clearly there was something wrong with the POS machine because my card declined at first and so did the lady’s card behind me as well. Instead of kindly letting her know it didn’t go through, he raised his voice and said it declined and he looked annoyed as if it was her fault. Mind you, it’s like 12pm…the mall hasn’t been opened that long, how do you have an attitude already 💀💀. I don’t care if you dislike your job, but that shouldn’t be projected onto customers who are strangers to you. Too old to be acting like that. (Jan 19th)

Worst customer service experience.
I ordered a milk tea but was served a latte. When I asked for 50% sugar, I was told it was “fixed” and couldn’t be adjusted. She didn’t bother to clarify what I meant or offer any options, even though I don’t work there and might be using different terms. When I asked the cashier again, she replied with attitude and said I could just pay and order another one.

If you don’t like your job, please don’t take it out on customers. Experiences like this turn a place I used to enjoy into somewhere I no longer want to visit. Very disappointing.

My 10-year-old daughter ordered a Pina Colada smoothie with pearls. The drink had unpleasant chunks in it and was not drinkable. I politely asked if they could make a new one, but the staff refused and said no replacements were allowed. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service.

The staff here a gentleman refused to take my order and I was the only customer!! No one in line.He insisted “I need to learn how to order from the machine”. I told him if I could learn another time and if he would be able to take my order as I was in a rush, he refused, he refused to take my order. This happened on 9th Oct’2025 around 6:45 pm!!!

When it was finally my turn to order, they asked, “Cash or card?”
I said, “Card.”
Then they told me to go use the machine instead.
So I went.
By the time I finished ordering at the machine,
the people who were behind me in line had already gotten their drinks and left.

I ordered strawberry black tea and it was stinking like anything.. when i ask the associate to try it or make a new one she just refused and said its alright but honestly i had a horrible experience with the Surrey central coco bubble tea one
I would never never never ever recommend anyone to go there and the staff is soo hell rude .

I had a really disappointing experience here. The customer service was terrible. I didn’t feel welcomed at all, and the staff didn’t treat me well. The manager was the worst part; he didn’t act like a manager at all and made the whole experience even more frustrating. With so many other boba shops around, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I visited the CoCo at Guildford (Surrey, BC) on August 26, 2025, and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a taro milk tea (regular sugar), but it came out much sweeter than normal. When I politely raised the issue, both the staff and the manager dismissed my concern, refused to adjust or remake the drink, and even told me to “let them take other customers.”

I spent about $8 on a drink I couldn’t even finish and had to leave it behind. As someone who regularly visits CoCo, I expected at least a basic level of customer care, but instead I was treated as if my concern didn’t matter.

This location needs to take customer feedback and quality control more seriously. I’ve also contacted CoCo’s corporate team about this.

I was very disappointed with the level of service I received. The staff did not seem properly trained or prepared. I witnessed the front desk staff give a customer the wrong drink, and when he mentioned it, she told him to “just try it” because they were busy. I also attempted to place an order from their menu, but when I asked specific questions about the items, the employee became dismissive and walked away after only a few words were exchanged. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and frustrating.

Disappointed with my visit. I ordered a drink and was told I couldn’t customize the sugar or ice, even though there was a sign clearly showing all the customization options available. The drink itself was underwhelming, which made the experience even more frustrating.
