Good wifi and clean environment. Their drinks are overpriced and never fill it to the top. Also, they kick you out after an hour, which is ridiculous for the prices they are charging here. It's a shame because it's a very cool spot.

I have never been informed of the 90 minute rule in advance, yet I have frequented your cafe over 50 times and this is a recurring issue. Additionally, what you addressed is not my only reason for leaving a low review. These have been continual disappointing experiences, and yesterday was the tipping point. I advise looking at what customers are writing in your reviews because I am not an anomaly.

pastries are good! most of the time service is okay. however, everytime I get a matcha latte the matcha is burnt.

This is my favorite cafe of all time. Let me tell you why:

Service is amazing. The staff are really nice and provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The atmosphere of this place is beautiful. It really feels out the café aspect and is a great place for reading, conversing in conversation, working, and more.

The wide range of drinks and food. There are so many options and it really accommodates for many. The quality on all of them are amazing as well.

If you're looking for a place to have a good time, chatting with friends, reading a book, doing your work here, or more, this place is the place to go. Would recommend for sure. 10/10.

Spanish lattes are absolutely delicious!

I’ve tried matcha lattes from many different cafes because I really love matcha, but the one here is deep, rich, earthy and perfectly balanced. Definitely among the best in Vancouver! Im so grateful to have a place like this near my home

I was there today to grab a Matcha latte before my meeting. The drink tastes amazing. strong matcha taste which I like. The staff are amazing! So many dessert options and place is very clean. Perfect place to do some work or meet up with your friends.

Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped my matcha latte upon picking it up from the counter, it was definitely my fault as I was on the phone talking to my client. To my surprise, the staff came up to my table to provide a replacement drink. The cafe went above and beyond, when in fact they did not have to do it. Thank you for your awesome customer service. I will definitely come back highly recommended!

Went there today. $9+ for a slice of cake…
No one smiling or greeting you
Barista literally turned, looked at the two people (myself and someone else) in line, frowned.. and continued what she was doing. Male finally served us, no hello no thank you no smile nothing.
Not a very friendly place, and very expensive yikes

Yesterday (march 28, 25) a friend and I stopped by coffee monster around 2pm. The barista at the till was a young Asian lady who had absolutely zero customer service skills or patience. As we made our order and asked a few questions she was flippant and literally rolled her eyes at us. Then, when our drinks and food came she dropped them on the counter without looking at us, and just looked put out the entire time. The funny thing was that the drink and food were good, but myself and my friend were so turned off by this young lady's attitude we will not be coming back. I've worked customer service before, it's not hard to be superficially pleasant for 30 seconds. I'd suggest management have a conversation with her before more customers are lost.

came in here on saturday for a quick drink with a friend and both of the drinks we got were delicious! i got an iced brown sugar latte and she got an iced matcha latte and we both loved our drinks! lots of great seating, wifi and outlets to study and get some work done. will definitely come back here soon!

It's great that we have a place like this in Guildford now. Lots of great desserts. The macarons are really good. This place and Saint Germain Bakery in the mall are seemingly the only places in Guildford where you can get macarons right now and Coffee Monster has the better ones. The coffee here is fantastic as well. This is a really nice spot to just chill with some friends and talk.

My go-to local coffee spot. Always very busy, prepare for a bit of a wait. Tables are often all occupied but they're good about rotating people out. I wish they were open a bit earlier sometimes but they offset it with later hours, so can't be too critical.

Love their drinks, treats are decent, staff is friendly. My only issue with this place is the seating. There are lots of tables for four but they're often taken up by singles. Maybe a reorganization of tables would help. Or a removal of plexi barriers so the smaller tables can be spread out to allow more than one person can sit in an area.

Huge menu and delicious drinks. My favourite is the brown sugar latte. Seems like a great place to study as they're open pretty late for a cafe and has lots of electrical outlets, plus barriers between tables for personal space. I plan on bringing my books next time I visit!
