The female employee who works here on Tuesday mornings at around 10:30 a.m. needs to be fired immediately. She's extremely rude, arrogant, and works with a sour expression. She doesn't respond when greeted and doesn't even make eye contact or acknowledge when I thanked for the coffee. Right after me, an Indian lady ordered an iced coffee, but she was served a hot one by mistake. When the lady politely pointed it out saying “It was an iced,” the employee got visibly irritated, sighed, and turned away with an annoyed expression. Even when the Indian lady said, “it’s ok I’ll just take it,” she was completely ignored. Her face expression was pure disgust. She looks pretty old and I kinda know why she is still working as a part-timer. If she’s the owner, that’s even worse. And also to top it off, instead of remaking the coffee properly, she just added ice. Just so you know, it's not just about putting ice. the taste of the coffee itself is totally different. Such an amazing place to study & get work done! This cafe has an amazing selection of delicacies. Tables are separated by plexiglass, which made me feel very safe. I have not seen any other cafes in the Lower Mainland that goes above and beyond like this. Thank you to Coffee Monster for considering our health while providing exceptional service!

The matcha latte was very good. They likely make a lot. The London fog was the worst I've ever had. Maybe they just don't have experience making them?? I was concerned that some are too sweet. This was not too sweet. It was not too anything. The weakest beverage I have ever had. All of the flavours, Earl Grey tea, milk, and vanilla syrup were barely there. I waited to see if the tea would get stronger, but I found out too late that there was no bag.I really like a good London Fog. This was nowhere near one of those.

All the workers are constantly friendly, but whenever this worker is taking orders - she always gives this annoyed expression and talks with an attitude. Not sure if she is the head or manager. Otherwise the other workers are kind and hardworking and the place has really nice drinks and good portions.

The desserts and drinks were pretty but were not as good as it looked, not bad but also nothing too special.I was surprised to see reviews saying the staff were friendly because I never have seen more unfriendly staff. The girl at the cashier did not even smile once and had a constant :| face talking to us. There's not really any service here. Even when we brought our tray back to the counter to ask were we should put it, she cut us off before we could ask with a kind of rude tone telling us to throw out the garbage ourselves behind us.Though packed with students working on school, place has a nice quiet atmosphere. However I came with my parents and some relatives and they felt a bit uncomfortable like they didn't fit in with the crowd there.
