I ordered a cake a few days back and I came to pick it up. I went to the drive through because I usually pick up the cakes from there but this time when I went to the drive through,customer service wasn’t good the lady was very disrespectful working there and made me come inside to pick up the cake.

Very Disappointing Experience

I visited the Dairy Queen in Surrey and had a very poor experience. The staff were rude not only to me, but to other customers as well, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable from the start.

My burger was clearly microwaved—the bun was hot and rubbery while the rest of the burger was unevenly heated. When I politely asked for it to be remade, the staff refused and instead just offered a refund.

While I did receive my money back, that doesn’t make up for the unprofessional attitude and refusal to fix the issue. Fast food mistakes happen, but how staff handle them matters, and this location handled it badly.

I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this location based on my experience.

I would avoid if you’re hoping for hot food, especially for dine-in. My burger was so cold the cheese hadn’t even melted. It was like they pulled it out of the fridge and dropped it in a bag for me. No trays, no life to the atmosphere. Early afternoon visit but felt like it was right before closing when everyone had given up for the day.

How is this place still open. I was working in the area and I recall getting good burgers at DQ in the past, so I stopped in for lunch.

I got the Backyard Bacon Ranch stackburger combo with fries. It had zero flavour. None. No ranch, no seasoning. Even the onion rings were bland. The fries were the same. No flavour. I dont know that's even possible.

Beyond that, the place was empty. Staff were not visible until I entered, and someone came out from the back.

The decor was cold and reminiscent of an old hospital.

Terribly sad. I won't return, and I recommend you think twice before going here. There are far better options not far away. The nostalgia is NOT there.

The dine-in experience felt off. No trays, hardly any condiments, and the place had a strong neglected atmosphere. The fries were soggy, but the burger itself was actually pretty good. I wouldn’t suggest eating inside, though the drive-thru is fairly convenient.

The staff that run this store are lacking in the understanding of customer service and professionalism. Every time I come here, I encounter the staff talking very rudely to customers and providing made-up excuses to justify their rude behaviour and lack of compassion. It is extremely rare that this location does a good job, I don’t recommend this location.

This is the best Dairy Queen locations, particularly because Raman and Raj work here and they always make my favorite Choco brownie extreme blizzard with skors with extra chocolate, exactly as I want it. They are the really Dairy Queens, and they are running the shop so amazingly!!! They deserve a raise, and they deserve to own this location! I come here every time my mood is off and they always help.
