Some of the best breakfast I’ve ever had! Gluten free options are amazing and the people working are very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The gluten free pannokoek tastes so damn good! The syrup, the eggs, the sausages, everything was top tier and I wil definitely be coming back! Best breakfast chain in B.C!

FLIES EVERYWHERE! Should have left but my child was hungry and it was too hot out to walk elsewhere. Extremely overpriced no name bagged frozen diced hash browns. Dried out in the oven not even fried up nicely. $46 for two breakfast meals - ridiculous. And the large server lady came three inches from my body to watch me as I hit the tip option. So uncomfortable. I will never come back here. Another cloverdale spot ruined by being bought out!

had a delicious & huge breakfast with my kid. we noticed little updates inside - updated cups / signs/ menu with the dedutch classics & feel still there. you can tell they have a great owner, quality service!! Xoxoxox
Vegetarian options: Oatmeal, fruit, toast, hashbrowns, fresh avacado, french toast, etc
Dietary restrictions: i am super picky, love the turkey bacon option (no one else has that!) best selection of fruits (no yucky cantaloupe) lol and very fair when you ask for something instead of something else ex. More fruit instead of eggs
Parking: if yoy dont find parking in the main lot theres tons of street nearby all free
Kid-friendliness: totally kid friendly

We LOVE DeDutch. We traveled from Abbotsford to Surry to go. The food was delicious, as always. The Pannekoek never disappoints and the coffee is good and strong. The service was fast and friendly. Its kinda pricy, but i feel like the food is worth it. The restaurant had quite a few dirty tables and the floor needed a vacuum but it we were there in the last 1/3 of their day so it's likely better ealier in the shift. We will absolutely be back again

Tasty food but over priced even for todays prices.
Two people, each ordering 1 dish (the same dish just with different bread for the toast and 1 was bacon, the other sausage) and 1 drink. You wouldn't think it would be that challenging however, after three corrections I felt confident we should get basic bacon/sausage and eggs combos accurately.
Toast was wrong on one, and side note, 1 piece of bread cut in half is now a full order of toast apparently.
Whole grain is whole grain. Not brown, not sourdough. Not here anymore.
Rubbery eggs.
Wrong side on one plate as well as proteins being switched on each plate. Sausage, yuk grease covered over half the hash browns and the eggs so it felt like I was eating sausage .... again yuk. Yes, I was tge bacon and egg order.
Hashbrowns cooked nicely, seasoned ok.
Side salad was a lot of stems but I do love their dressing.
No one asked about top ups of drinks until waiting for our check and then it was for coffee which neither of us had.
Asked for check and cofirmed we needed the machine to pay. And mentioned it again. And waited. And waited. And waited before finally going to front desk.
Paid. 0 tip.
And I don't do that. Especially at a restaurant that I have history with.
But this was sad.
I should add, not very busy. Not understaffed. The largest single order at the time was a table of 5.
It's more overpriced than before though it's never been a cheap breakfast kind of place. Portions are smaller.
Decor and atmosphere at this location very thin.
Have other options in the area to try and I'll be doing that before giving this de dutch another try.
