I recently had an amazing dining experience at desh punjab, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully set up. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked.

A special shoutout to our server, Chetan who truly made the evening unforgettable. Their friendly attitude, attention to detail, and great recommendations took the service to the next level. They made sure everything was perfect from start to finish and checked in just the right amount without ever making us feel rushed.

Worst . Food , arrogant staff at counter outside , do not waste money , i told the staff that may be she made a mistake of giving me meethi chutney instead of sweet water , and unapologetically she replies “hamarey yahan to aisa hi hota hai” . Rude . Never go , to me it is a CHHAPRI POINT .

I had a very bad experience from this place Desh Punjab. I came to buy Jalebi, Rasgulla and Gulab jaman. When I reached home and ate Gulab jaman, it was really bad in taste, even jalebiyan’s taste was bad. The oil that they used was bad in smell. I spent $50 and I had to put everything in the garbage right away. I would say, it’s not worth of going to this place. Not good at all.

Chetan has always given the best service to us.. the sweetest to talk with.

Was very excited to try their sweets as have tried once before when I visited Surrey. Unfortunately, I am so so disappointed to taste their sweets today because they seemed like unfresh and stinking. I bought 5.5 pounds of it…. Complete wastage of money… ‘Rasgulla’ that needs to be filled with a lot of sugar syrup was so hard and chewy without syrup in it. I could not go back and return them because I don’t live in Surrey and around. Else, I would just return those waste that they sold to us. If I talk about their service, its always poor!!

I had golgappe and end with infection in my stomach.

I've been there twice from Edmonton and preferred to do breakfast at this location.
Always fresh meals, staff is amazing and prices are good.

It was great experience dining here. Poonam served us. She is very good at customer service. We had shahi paneer with garlic naan and channa bhatura. It was delicious. Highly recommend desh punjab!

Ordered Samosa from them. Worst ever tasted, filling was not smashed properly. They downgraded their quality over food eventually.The texture was also quite heavy, lacking the light, flaky crispness that makes a great samosa. Equally disappointing was the filling. It was bland and lacked the aromatic spices—such as cumin, coriander, and turmeric—that are typically the hallmark of a flavorful samosa.
