Great service and food for hall venue and at home catering.

Recently on 30 sep , I have attended my cousin’s function at Dhaliwal banquet hall everything was so good, food ,ambience and decoration, what caught my attention is one of the staff who was at the buffet, her name was Navneet. The reason why she got my attention, there was the table service, I was unaware of it, I went for the food and she asked me how can i help you, I asked for tandoori fish ,She served me tandoori fish and asked if I need anything else.
I was amazed that even it was table service she was very attentive and made sure everything was served on my table and herself came and asked me again for the food.
That girl was very attentive towards her duty, I like her calmness, nature and professionalism.
Overall it was a very good experience with the Dhaliwal Banquet hall, excellent food, excellent staff and excellent service.

We had our Jago at Dhaliwal Banquet hall and all the catering handled by Dhaliwal at our house. Everything tasted great and the service was amazing.

Deepak did the catering setup at our home. He made sure everything worked efficiently with our schedule. The food was always on time and served at perfect timings.

If I could give zero stars I would. After enjoying a wedding a few weeks ago catered by Dhaliwal catering I decided to get them to cater my event. I mean they have a great reputation and I have enjoyed their food at many hall partys and weddings I have attended including my sisters........ But what a mistake it was getting them to cater my 40th birthday in Burnaby. I paid $1060 upfront for catering for 35 people. I got my aunt to pick up the order, which by the way was not ready at the scheduled pick up time, and she brought the food to my event. The appetizers were okay, the fish tasted a bit off and the Dahi Bhalla, which i paid extra for, was disgusting. The dahi was loaded with sugar which essentially made the dish inedible and guests stayed away from it. Everything went downhill after the appies. For the dinner, they forgot to include the butter chicken. I called them and after some back and forth arguing, as they were adament the kitchen included it in the pick up order, they were kind enough to deliver a new one via uber. What was recieved was old inedible butter chicken. To top the night off, when we were setting up the dinner, they forgot to include the koftay for the Malai Kofta. I was left with just sauce which left my guests unimpressed. The Palak Paneer which was also a part of the dinner was not fresh at all, and the paneer smelled expired and guests stayed away from it. Oh, and before I forget to mention, the Kheer, which i had ordered for desert had RAW undercooked rice in old milk sauce. Every single guest complained about the food and were suprised when I told them it was from Dhaliwal. ALL THE FOOD HAD TO BE THROWN OUT! When I called the next day to speak with the owner...they were nowhere to be found. Such poor customer service. I was repeatedly told by whoever answered the phone that the butter chicken and koftay were packed... INSINUATING I was hiding it?!?!?! AFTER MUCH ARGUING I was offerd a free dinner for four peope or $106 back. I opted to get my $106 back because I'd rather not eat that disgusting food again. What a waste of money getting catering from this place. Completely ruined the party. For catering private events, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, avoid this place at all costs.

The place is up on the 2nd floor. The food was good. It's your standard wedding venue. The wait staff was highly attentive.

Two days ago, I attended an event at the Gurdwara near Dhaliwal Banquet Hall. Everything was very well organized. The food was delicious, and the place was clean and tidy
I want to mention one of the servers, Pawanpreet Singh, who stood out with his excellent service. He served food and drinks with great care, communicated well with all the guests, and was very hardworking and dedicated. His service skills were impressive. Other servers were also very polite, professional, and made sure everyone was looked after. Overall, it was a great experience, and I was really happy with the service and hospitality.
