Food used to be good but not anymore
Ordered veg biryani, something in it tasted stale.. being Indian we cook this but sometimes want to have it made or for lunch at work, tasted stale. Same thing for samosas, potatoes stuffing was stale. If a customer has to pay full price such as $20 a dish, the quality needs to be fresh or if want to sell stale dates Vegas, do discount on those, it’s fair in todays.economy. Food Quality matters !

Horrible customer service and food quality. I tried calling and explaining to them that channas are super hard and the chaat is filled with old paprika amd barely any chana amd potato, and the girl kept arguing. No wonder they have 3.3 star rating!

I’m disappointed to write this, but I feel it needs to be said. Every time I’ve ordered from Dimond Sweet Restaurant, the food tastes reheated and not freshly made. It feels like old food is being warmed up and served again, which is not what customers are paying for.

I don’t know how many people this happens to—maybe some don’t notice or don’t want to complain—but if we keep ignoring it and accepting poor quality food, restaurants will only continue to lower their standards.

I’m sharing this to encourage better quality and accountability. Food should be fresh, worth the money, and prepared with care. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience here, and I would not recommend eating food that doesn’t meet basic quality expectations.

Ordered jalebi, laddu, chicken samosa and veg samosa, but not even one item was good. The sweets smelled like old, stale oil instead of fresh aroma, and both samosas were bland with no flavour. Very disappointing experience.

On diwali.. i ordered 3 boxex of gulab zamun. Whcih was stale and tasteless even i called the restuarnt before i placed my order on uber east to conform if they can pack my all three boxeseperately. The lady on the call said yes. Unfortunately, i received all 3 punds gulab zamun together in single big box. It looks terrible.
On this stage, whats should i person do who decided to give 3 boxex to threee different people but,they did not pay attention at all,
Once i receive my order i called them back and the same lady on call and said yes.
I replied i need a solution and she wants me to chat with uber..

Inconsistent flavours for the past few months or so. I just picked up lamb curry and it tastes like mildly spiced tomato sauce. Been going here for years but this hasn't been satisfying the cravings lately. At least the garlic naan isn't burnt today and tastes great!

“I visited Diamond Sweets & Restaurant on August 5, 2025, but left without dining due to an extremely rude encounter at the front desk. When I asked about the menu, the staff member was dismissive and spoke to me in a disrespectful manner, making me feel completely unwelcome. This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable for someone in a customer-facing role and ruined my experience before it even began. I strongly urge management to ensure staff in front-facing positions are trained to treat customers with respect to prevent others from feeling this way.”

This sweet shop might look appealing from the outside, but the sweets are a complete letdown. Most of what I tried tasted stale, overly sweet, or just plain off. The textures were all wrong — dry laddoos, kaju burfi, and gulab jamun that lacked any real flavor.

And for the price they charge, the quality is nowhere near acceptable.

Save your money and your taste buds — there are far better sweet shops out there.
