The Brussels sprouts were delicious but a little too much oil. The cauliflower bites were quite oily and disappointing not tossed and dressed with the Korean sauce instead of the dip on the side. The Hogan Spritzer - thanks for trying.

Very limited breakfast menu for a hotel. One type of bread - poor selection- service good and lovely ambience !

The food here is great, it's always consistent, but I wish the fajita tower was still on the menu haha. Great cocktails too! Staff are hit or miss in terms of personality, but never terrible any of the times I have been.

200% would not recommend at this point. We were celebrating a milestone for my aunty and I was embarrassed to have picked this place. I kid you not, we almost left after an hr having only been asked what we wanted to drink.
The service was abysmal because it took over 30 minutes before she came to take orders for our first drinks, because one of us finally went to ask someone to get her! Then after that, another 30 minutes before coming back to take orders for appies. We didn't make the mistake of waiting for her to return again as we pounced on ordering entrees once appies arrived. Not one time did our waters get filled in 3 hrs despite being empty, and finished plates sat on the table for at least 20 minutes each time.
It's really a shame because the service (if you can call it that) put a damper on the food too. Overall the grub was acceptable: rigatonis cooked well, burger alright, curry was huge. I'll say the bartender did a good job, as the cocktails were tasty.
Unfortunately, I had muuchh higher hopes for this establishment. For spending hundreds of dollars here and as someone who doesn't eat out much, I am just regretful.

I’m writing to share some feedback on a recent visit to your restaurant on Tuesday evening at 6:15 PM. While we were looking forward to a pleasant evening in celebration, unfortunately, the service we experienced was quite disappointing and detracted from the overall experience.

Upon arrival, we appreciated being offered the choice between the lounge and a quieter dining area and were promptly seated in the quieter section. A staff member kindly dropped off waters and cutlery for our party, though only three of us had arrived at that point. The remaining two joined us shortly after, at around 6:25 PM.

However, from that point on, we had no interaction with any staff for a considerable amount of time. By 6:40 PM, no one had come by to take our order or check in, and we had to leave the room to flag someone down just to order drinks. While the drinks did arrive soon after, our server didn’t return until after 7:00 PM to take our appetizer order. At that point, I was honestly tempted to pay for the drinks and leave, but chose not to spoil the celebration.

Once the appetizers (brie and calamari) arrived — which were excellent, to your kitchen's credit — our server did a quick quality check and took our main course orders. However, after our mains were served, we didn’t see her again until the plates were being cleared. There were no water refills or check-ins throughout the remainder of the meal.

It’s worth noting that the lounge area didn’t appear busy, and we could even hear the table near us also expressing frustration about the lack of service. Unless our server was solely responsible for the entire dining area and lounge, it would have been reasonable to expect more frequent check-ins and basic service like drink refills.

We were looking forward to a relaxing, enjoyable evening, and while the food met expectations, the inattentive service unfortunately left a lasting impression — and not a good one.

Server was excellent, thank you Gabriel. We shared a steak sandwich and a chicken salad. Both were delicious. A quick note for maintenance, the corner bench seat by the door is loose.. overall I will definitely return.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Dominion Bar + Kitchen in Surrey! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, with a modern Canadian vibe that’s perfect for any occasion—whether it’s a casual brunch, a business meeting, or a special celebration. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home.
The food was a highlight—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I tried the Ahi Tuna Tartare, which was fresh, zesty, and paired perfectly with the wonton chips. The Cavatappi Mac and Cheese with spicy chicken was indulgent yet balanced, with just the right kick. Their craft beer selection was impressive, and the Purple Goddess cocktail was a floral delight that I’ll definitely order again. The breakfast buffet sounds amazing too, and I’m already looking forward to trying it next time!
The service was top-notch, with our server checking in just enough to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The location in Surrey City Centre, right by the Civic Hotel and Skytrain, is super convenient, and the underground parking was a bonus. Dominion Bar + Kitchen truly elevates dining in Surrey with its creative menu, welcoming vibe, and stellar service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal!

Excellent service from calling to ask for an accommodation, to being called by name upon entrance, the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy being at work. Diverse menu choices for 16-75y at our table, excellent food options for GF/DF/V, and delicious flavour combinations. We were visiting a friend from out of town and enjoyed a relaxed, no rush, doted in evening, it was perfect! Thank you Valerie!

The cauliflower appie we ordered was very jalapeño forward...not enough pieces of cauliflower. Also was greasy like they had been fried in oil that wasn't hot enough. Otherwise the food wasn't bad!
